Clionadh Jewelled Multichrome Eyeshadows ($25.00 CAD for 0.05 oz. each) are intense, multichromatic eyeshadows that have really captured the attention of the online beauty community–especially if you’re into more “indie” brands.

The Jewelled Multichrome formula has a black base and shifts between at least three colors with some having more contrasting and dramatic shifts between five shades. You’ll want to click through to view more swatches associated with any shade that might catch your eye as they all have quite a few swatches to show off the shifts!

The formula is smooth, almost cream-like, but well-balanced between dense and easy to work with, so dry brushes worked with them, though fingertips/wet brushes yielded slightly richer color and smoother coverage faster. They were very pigmented and lasted around eight to nine hours on me but tended to crease a bit toward the end (rather than just fade).

They are a Canadian brand, and shipping to the US appears to be a flat rate of $15 CAD (about $11 US). There were three additional shades in this finish released (that I don’t have), too. You can pre-order from the brand’s Stained Glass collections (bundles and individual shades) for delivery in September. I’m hoping that they’ll have shorter turnaround times by fall!

Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Scrumptious multicromes! There’s quite a few I’d love to get my paws on and create looks with. Gargoyle, Kiln, Anneal, Patina and Gothic to start with. I’m not sure which would be most cost-effective, the bundle or just buying the 5 singles that I’m most in love with, though…?

They do have a custom set of six available – you don’t save a ton by buying a set vs. singles. Even at the full 20-piece bundle, it just takes down the cost of each shade by $3.

Any readers who have not yet done so: it is MANDATORY to read the full review to see the multi-facets of these shadows. And Christine showcases them at their best .

Ugh. These are so pretty they make my brain hurt. Looking at all the swatches in one place is so satisfying and also painful as I can’t decide which ones I’d want to own (ALLLLLL!!!!).

I pre-ordered Forge and Oculus with the intent to try them before I invest in additional colors, but these stunning images and positive reviews make it hard to maintain the willpower. If the formula works for me, I have Kiln, Rosette, and Gargoyle on my list for the next round.

So I finally got my order from July, and, I am so disappointed in the staying power. The colors are amazing when first applied, but they just don’t last for me. I’ve tried both colors, with my customary primer, with and withoute a matte “base”, with my usual finishing spray, but by mid-day (~5 hours if wear) all of the lovely colors have disappeared into my crease line and I only have a bit left on my browbone and upper lashline areas. Bummer, but I guess it is a money saver for me. Glad I tried these two colors before committing to more.

Thanks, Christine. I know others have had more success with these and they are absolutely stunning, so it was worth a try. I will save them for special occasions when longevity isn’t as much of an issue, so I can still enjoy them.
