Bite Beauty Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon ($24.00 for 0.05 oz.) is marketed as having “bold, one swipe color” that is “hydrating” and has a “comfortable, creamy-matte finish.” It has a lightly glossy, satin-to-cream finish with semi-opaque to opaque coverage (most were opaque, though).

The texture felt very creamy and smooth–almost too soft initially–but actually was lightweight, thin (but not clingy), with a touch of tackiness present that helped keep the product in place for longer. The formula was hydrating while worn, comfortable to wear and to apply, and was a nice comeback for the brand.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Lovely, and can’t say I’m surprised. In lipstick products, Bite has both reliability and validity. DK why statistics terms are on my mind today. But they are as they are described and you don’t hear about batch variation. Tube one will be like your repurchase. (I have five Orgasms from over the years, in palettes, etc., and they look radically different in the pan and somewhat different, applied. That is NOT reliable.). The trick will be to no buy/low buy these.
