Best Metallic Highlighter

What's the best Metallic Highlighter that you've tried?

For lots of shine and shimmer, my favorites are Anastasia’s Highlighting Powders, MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinishes, Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors, Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Colourpop Butterfly Beach!!! A hundred times over!
Also, all my MAC MSF cheek products are utterly seen-from-space level of sheen should I decide to wear them to that degree!

My most metallic highlight is the Mary Lou! I have to make sure to use a porefiller on the apples of my cheeks or else it looks kinda iffy!! 😛

For me, it’s a toss up between Becca (I love Pearl in the pressed/powder form) and two MAC MSFs I have from years ago – Candlelight (warmer) and Petticoat (more pink). Oh gosh – how could I forget The Balm’s Mary Loumanizer?

Definitely the Becca Pressed highlighters! I have Pearl, Opal, Rose Quartz, Rose Gold (a deluxe sample size), and I used to have Moonstone too before I used it up. All gorgeous!

I am really pale so almost anything I apply can be seen from outer space. However, most are too dark for me to use as a highlighter. My favorite highlighters are by Becca and MAC. I like Pearl and Moonstone from Becca because they are light enough to really show up on my skin tone.

I’m not really sure what makes a highlighter “metallic”, so I’ll just put my best hella strong highlighter I guess? Which for me is either Becca Moonstone (pressed), or CT Dreamy Glow. I think MAC Lightscapade might fall in that category as well?

Don’t really have any, but just ordered CP over the moon, so time will tell. St I use that old Dior quad that another reader also uses, and it’s semimetallic. I think it was the 90s version of moonchild, but for eyes. Some of the mufe crystalline shadows aren’t bad, either, for colored metallic. But I think the CP will be very glittery. Prob will try it with interstellar for eyes and rapture for blush, either rapture or after dark for l/s.

I’m not sure I own a metallic highlighter per se. The highest shine highlighters that I have are Charlotte Tilbury’s Bar of Gold, CT x NP cream highlighter Sun Light, EL x VB Modern Mercury and Bobbi Brown’s Pink Glow.

Hourglass Radiant light (not sure if it’s really “metallic”, though) and my longstanding unsung hero favourite, MAC Beauty Powder in Pearl Sunshine. Just purchased BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Topaz (subtle on my dark skin).

MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinishes, Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors, Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks and i want to test out the ABH glow kit 🙂

Cindy Lou for the win! Which is funny cause Mary-Lou was on my wish list but Cindy Lou came in a mixed palette I bought for travel and I love it. Still want to try the other sisters bc Cindy is one of the very few items I will hit pan on in less then 3 years.
