Omega is my favorite transition shade and I love the formula. I have gone through so many. I also really love ABH Buon Fresco if I am leaning a little more purple/pink in my e/s look. Both are stellar products for me with Omega eeking out a little ahead of ABH simply because it is the perfect shade for me. I also use it as a contour occasionally. It can also be used in my brows. It is just a really versatile shade for me personally.
Omega is one of the best and most versatile eye shadows I have, and I do have quite a few.
I rarely use matte eyeshadow – it just seems to make my eyes look flat, even though they are hooded. The one I use the most is Buck by Urban Decay.
Another one is the grey shade in Guerlain’s Les Gris – a beautiful matte grey.
ABH Cypress Umber, Buon Fresco and Red Ochre… MAC Uninterrupted, Tete a Tint, Cork, Saddle, Rule, Red Brick are such staples. I’d also add MAC Wedge, Soft Brown and Charcoal Brown. Also ABH Golden Ochre and Burnt Orange. While I cannot do an all matte look, I do think they are necessary to incorporate into a look to add dimension to the eye
