This formula is supposed to have “just the right balance of color and light” that can be worn alone or “as a blush topper.” It seemed like it is supposed to be somewhere between sheerer like a highlighter and more pigmented like a blush (hence why it can also be layered), which is the best I can surmise from their marketing (there’s a lot of use of subtle as well, which at least indicates, to me, that they’re not saying it’s ultra pigmented). I noticed that layering is best with a very, very light hand and a feathery brush or else the original blush can get overshadowed, as the formula runs semi-opaque. Much like the Shimmering Skin Perfectors, a little can go a long way. Camellia had rich color payoff with a lightly dry, dusty texture that was soft and blendable, but it was harder to control so I found a smaller, more precise blush brush easier to avoid going overboard in application. It was just shy of emphasizing pores on me, and I think if I had layered it a bit more, I would have found it emphasizing. This shade wore well for eight hours before fading.

Oooh, I love this! Going on my wishlist! Shame it isn’t better but it’s good enough.
Hope you can check it out soon, Clarie!
Wow, what a pretty color! This will go well with many lippies
It is a pretty shade!
I definitely have to have this one!
Awesome!
Is this available now? I checked the Nordstrom site and it said this ”
No results for “Becca Camellia Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush”
They are available through Sephora/Ulta/Becca already, not sure who else has launched besides those three.
I can’t find this color at Becca site or Sephora. Maybe it’s me?
They’re on both sites — here are links: Becca / Sephora
Just found it at Lord & Taylor online.
Reminds me a lot of the MAC MSF in Warm Love!
I can see some resemblance!
I was so worried that these would be overly shimmery, but this looks like a healthy glow! I think I’ll have to pick this one up!
They are pretty, but they are definitely more of a moderate finish!
I’ve been watching the posts on this new Becca blush formula and I honestly think I prefer the old formula.. I think most of the shades look really easy to mess up due to pigmentation and the sparkly finish. I also see them as sitting on top of the skin. I don’t think this would be a formula for me. Colours are lovely though.
I believe they still have both, but they did eliminate a lot of shades from the original blush line-up!
I absolutely love this shade, BUT I know better than to order it sight unseen simply because I fear it may be a tad too light on me. I’m thinking Foxglove or Dahlia would suit my skintone better. I will say, this one looks fantastic on you, though!
I hope you can check it out at Sephora to see if it is too light 🙂
This is really lovely! I have the Parasol dupe, so I’m covered for now.
*swoon* very pretty!
Very nice, once again the sparkle factor means a face swatch for me.
Let me know if you try it!
