Anastasia Pink Diamond Stick Highlighter Review & Swatches
Pink Diamond
Anastasia Pink Diamond Stick Highlighter ($34.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a very light, almost white, pink with a very reflective, smooth sheen. It had medium, buildable pigmentation, as marketed, that applied well over bare skin or with a fingertip when working over foundation. When I used a brush over foundation, the formula was too quick to set and resulted in light patchiness.
The texture was lightweight, thin, and lightly emollient but quick to dry down to a powder-like finish that wasn’t yielding once it set, so I’d recommend working one area at a time. It stayed on well for seven and a half hours before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview
$34.00/0.28 oz. - $121.43 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have a "customizable glow" with an "ultra-smooth" consistency that "melts effortlessly" on skin. The coverage was described as "buildable," which was true--most shades were more medium to semi-opaque, but the more emollient nature of the product made it inclined to sheer out during practice, so they were more buildable once I started applying them to my face.
The consistency was lightly emollient, thin, and had good glide, but it was quick to dry down and set to a powder-like finish. It looked a little drier and wasn't as flattering to my normal-to-dry skin as other cream-to-powder formulas, so it may be more suitable for oilier skin types. I didn't have any issues with the product lifting up foundation, so it worked fine over bare skin as well as on top of complexion products--as long as I used my fingertips to apply and blend out.
Because of the quick dry down time, I found fingertips to be the most flexible and foolproof for applying the product. Using a brush was where the application was more prone to going on unevenly, bunching up, or lifting up base products. The formula lasted between seven and eight hours on me.

Ooh! She’s pale, but such a gorgeous highlighter! Makes me think of pale pink crystal or quartz.
This looks like it would work on those with porcelain cooled toned complexions, it doesn’t have any yellowy undertones at all. Very nice.
I like this a lot but I have so many similar, not dupes, that I feel like I am well covered. Gosh, I haven’t purchased something from ABH in a couple of years. I moved away from their shadow palettes because of too much powder in the pan and some fall out. I really only liked a couple of the liquid lips. I am a complete snob about some things and there is something about Norvina that just rubs me the wrong way. I know I am getting old when I think about my pettiness, LOL!
Almost look like you’d want to eat it! Lovely in the tube, but less so to me on the skin.
