Formula Overview
$15.00/0.06 oz. - $250.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have a "super glossy, high shine" finish that takes a "pigmented kiss of color" and puts it into a "nourishing lip balm format" paired with a "deliciously fruity scent." The formula is housed in a click-style pen, and you'll want to be careful about dispensing too much product as it melts like... butter. I found that using a lighter hand to apply gave me the best results as it was very easy to over-apply.
The shades were pigmented, creamy, and had a high-shine finish as promised, and it did feel like a cross between a lipstick and a lip balm. Despite being so glossy, as long as I didn't over-apply the product, I felt like it stayed in place well, wasn't prone to feathering on me (though not something I've experienced that often, regardless of formulation), and had a touch of tackiness that likely helped it from getting everywhere.
It wasn't particularly long-wearing, but several shades lasted a solid four hours on me, and the formula itself was hydrating. There was a sweet, fruity scent but no discernible taste.

These look so beautiful! However, I don’t know how well they would last on my lips with my weird lip smushing I do when I’m feeling anxious or tense. Also; public transit user waiting in the hot Valley sun…I can so see this melting in my bag. And that would make me sad!
Sometimes I think I find unknown family here, you seem like a long lost sister very often. Weird lip smushing! I do that often, though I’ve called it rubbing and pressing.
Now I hope this didn’t sound totally weird.
I like both of the lipsticks, by the way.
Cherry Red looks good – a bright, vivid shade and a great rating.
While pretty colors, these look a little slippery for my liking. I can see them getting mushy in warmer weather and a mess to apply.
I LOVE lip butters and how pigmented these are but these have fragrance so sadly, can’t use.
