Formula Overview
$34.00/0.01 oz. - $3400.00 Per Ounce
The Stylo Yeux formula is supposed to be a “waterproof, smudge-proof” eyeliner with a “gentle, soft” texture. I gave up on this formula bit ago, as the majority of shades I had tried had a really firm, stiff, and painful-to-use texture, but new releases have much improved!
They are much, much creamier without being too wet, so they didn’t transfer or migrate easily. The formula was easy (and not painful!) to use even on my waterline. The eyeliners lasted nine hours or more on me.

How disappointing about Bois Noir – the pencil itself looks beautiful but the swatch tells the real story. Fortunately, I have UD Corrupt and a few other similar pencils that perform so much better.
Bois Noir is a major LETDOWN. This could have been a lovely deep brown/black, but man, it’s just a mess!
I love the Curve Dore shade, but I certainly wouldn’t spend $34 on a product that gets a B+ when I could buy almost the same shade from Sephora for $11 and that has an A rating. Thank goodness for the Dupe list!
Bois Noir is very disappointing.
Cuivre Dore isn’t a colour I would wear around my eyes but I was thinking the exact same thing, Genevieve – Sephora’s liners are at least as good and far more affordable than these. I know the name is “prestige” and all, but it’s just foolish. And, yeah – Bois Noir is such a let-down (probably a good thing at this price and with how hard it is for me to get my mitts on Chanel these days).
