Charlotte Tilbury Romance Light Pillow Talk Multi-Glow Review & Swatches
Romance Light
Charlotte Tilbury Romance Light Pillow Talk Multi-Glow ($45.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a light, pinky-peach with moderate, warm undertones that had a sparkling, lightly metallic finish. The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable without being too soft nor too firmly-pressed into the pan, but it was more sparkly than expected–I wouldn’t call it glitter, but it had visible sparkle particles when applied and blended out on my skin, which may not to be everyone’s liking.
It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that picked up evenly with a highlighting brush. The highlighter diffused with little effort on my skin, and it didn’t seem to emphasize my skin’s natural texture, even at higher coverage. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Very pretty but warmer and a bit darker than I thought it would be. I have the Milani dupe on my Wish List but it never seems to be available here in Canada. I do have Becca Rose Quartz, which is listed as a possible dupe so I might just content myself with that since this one is warmer than I expected and the visible sparkle might combine to make this a “skip” for me, though once I see it in store, I may well weaken!
If this didn’t say Pillowtalk I’d thought this was a Too Faced release. Looks rather cheap. Sorry not sorry lol
Agreed. Part of that is the tufting. That was part of the OTT Pat Bridgerton design as well. Let’s hope it’s not a trend. Even in the furniture that features it, it looks like cheap design with an aspirational element. An attempt to look ‘upper class’ that fails overtly.
I love it, which makes perfect sense considering that I own at least 2 dupes of it listed, plus one that I suspect is quite probably another. For this reason, I won’t be chasing this particular one down.
Sparklier than I expected, but still quite lovely!!
It’s just simply beautiful, and not warm at all. I prefer this to the wand highlighter.
I love the multi tonal aspect of this highlighter and I think it has a very soft finish and subtle glow to it.
I’m glad now that I waited for the review to get this. Not that it got a bad review, but the description of the colour, and me studying the photos made me see that it would be on the warm side for me, and also a bit darker than I had hoped.
So happy for money saved for something that will suit me better.
Am I crazy or is this almost blurring? You have NO texture
I didn’t find it blurring!
I read all the comments and agree with most but for some reason, I still want this. I don’t need it but since when has that ever stopped me?! I hope to see it in person in Seattle and of not maybe the FOMO will lesson by then.
I Just got it in my hands, The lighter version. I have dior, ofra, hourglass, guerlain, nars highlighters, and i can tell, the highlighting effect is solid, could build the Shine of different columns, they are visible, and so beautiful. All the shades are fitting for my taste, depends on my makeup overall. I wont say cheap package feeling, i love the touch n look. Even i have been thought by first impression about the touch, its soft and buttery, its not, but i couldnt feel it stone hard either, that i dont like (for example, for me dior backstage 4 panned highlighter only got 4* not 5*)
Overall, after a test, i could Say its a very beautiful one, and had solid glamour shine, wich could be worn during daytime also, for a party i would choose Ofra for example 🙂
I have read many bad reviews, but seems im not on the same point with those reviewers.
I would repurchase, and i am happy i have been bought this Little solid gem 🙂
The sparky ones not visible as glitter on Skin, somehow they could be visible in pressed ways, but not when applied. It has zero fallout easy to apply with brush n can build with fingers also
