Best Products of the Week | Vol. 321
Hope your weekend is starting off on the right note! Every Saturday, I like to share the top 10 products from the last week of reviews. It’s a nice way to highlight what reviews have been published recently. Similarly, I love reading–and I know others enjoy sharing!–their own “week in review” when it comes to what makeup/beauty products they may have used and/or enjoyed.
What was your week in review like? Copy and paste the lil’ survey below and share your answers in the comments 🙂

Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: I can’t really think of one – probably my typical every-day neutral eye, Sephora Cappucino to line, Craving on lips, Becca Foxglove blush (when I wore any – masks are still mandatory almost everywhere here)
What was the hero product of the week for you?: probably just eyeshadow primer – UDPP (trying to use that thing up) or Milani
Any products you want to use next week?: Clarins 4D mascara; I had a sample size and I love it; I’m hoping the full size is just as good and so far, so good…
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes, dark hair)
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: A simply drop dead stunning look I got from using my Sydney Grace x Mel Thompson Tiny Marvels Palette!
Eyes: Transition and lower lashline: Treehopper, crease: Walking Stick, to further darken and define outer crease and lower lashline: Death Moth, to line lower outer half of lashline and outer V: Spyder, inner tearducts: Web, mobile lid blended into Spyder: Fire Butts. Used my once HG KVD Tattoo Liner, which has been totally changed and now sucks, and my still great Smashbox Always On Eye Pencil in Fishnet and L’Oreal Lash Paradise WP Mascara.
Cheeks: Becca Malibu Soleil bronzer, MAC Sweet Vision and Double Gleam.
Lips: MAC Nuez Moscado lipstick with some Nyx Ever Slim Lip Pencil for definition.
What was the hero product of the week for you?: For the beauty of it, Sydney Grace x Mel Thompson Tiny Marvels Palette. For endurance, Smashbox Always On Eye Pencil in Fishnet on my upper waterline never moved or disintegrated in spite of my potent allergy tears.
Any products you want to use next week? Yes to more looks with Tiny Marvels! 🦋🐛🐞🐝🦗🕷️🕸️💜
Your skin tone/coloring: above freckles, green eyes, warm brown hair.
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: I did a CP Mandelorian palette dupe look that I really enjoyed: https://www.instagram.com/p/CWTQHpjJ-VV/?utm_medium=copy_link
As well as a pretty warm look using the BH Cosmetics Citrine palette: https://www.instagram.com/p/CWa90KmJ98u/?utm_medium=copy_link
What was the hero product of the week for you?: Still my base products, as well as the CT lightwands.
Any products you want to use next week?: My BH Cosmetics Passion in Paris palette, Menagerie Indigo Ink palette, some Clionadh singles, and PMGL Celestial Divinity palette.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: The one I did last night for my birthday dinner: I used CT’s The Rebel 2020 – with the gold shade over most of the lid, with the olive green shade on the mobile lid, the olive brown shade in the crease and the the darker olive shade next to the lashline. I paired it with Maybelline’s Spice for Me lipstick and it all went well.
What was the hero product of the week for you?: Lorac Noir. I used it several times last week for all different eye looks – I even used a matte or two!
Any products you want to use next week?: My new By Terry Bonjour Paris palette – it is a beauty. The middle matte brown shade is a bit of a dud, but the shimmer and satin shades are gorgeous.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: The look I did for my birthday dinner: I used CT’s The Rebel 2020 quad, with the gold shade on most of the lid, the olive brown shade in the crease, the olive green shade on the mobile lid and the darker green shade next to the lash line. I paired it with Maybelline’s Spice for Me lipstick. I made sure I blended the shades in well and I was happy with the result.
What was the hero product of the week for you?: Lorac Noir – I used it several times last week, all for different eye looks (some better than others) and I even used a matte or two!
Any products you want to use next week?: My brand new By Terry’s Bonjour Paris. The shimmers and satin shades are gorgeous and highly pigmented (of the ones I’ve used today), but the middle matte brown shade is definitely a bit of a dud – but it doesn’t worry me because I would never really use that colour.
I love Lorac Noir. So great! Glad you are enjoying!
Your skin tone/coloring: Fenty 120
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: PMG Bronze Borealis and Shiseido Lipstick in Mauve. https://www.instagram.com/p/CWbQ5-KpDaW/?utm_medium=copy_link
What was the hero product of the week for you?: Colourpop 25/8 cream blush stick. Useful for every look I did this week!
Any products you want to use next week?: MTHSHP Mega Palette and Bronze Borealis. I also picked up a green palette from Colourpop but I think that will have to wait until December! The PMG eyeshadows are just too good!!!
