Best Products of the Week | Vol. 307
Hope your weekend is starting off on the right note! Every Saturday, I like to share the top 10 products from the last week of reviews. It’s a nice way to highlight what reviews have been published recently. Similarly, I love reading–and I know others enjoy sharing!–their own “week in review” when it comes to what makeup/beauty products they may have used and/or enjoyed.
What was your week in review like? Copy and paste the lil’ survey below and share your answers in the comments 🙂

Gotta say; I have been LITERALLY losing my mind trying to get Dior Night Bird quint from somewhere! This has to be the most elusive of things that I really want to get. Night Bird? Where art thou?
Dior usually releases on their site first, but it seems like their regular fall collection so I’m sure it’ll roll out to retailers like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Saks, etc. soon!
Thanks for letting me know this info, as I really love that Night Bird a lot!
Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral, green eyes, s&p hair
Look you loved this week? Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Burnished Bronze in crease and under lash line, MAC Sweet Enough blush, Laura Mercier Baked Highlighter 01 on cheekbones, MAC Spirit lipstick. Plus Estée Lauder Stay-in-Place Makeup, MAC Blot Powder, and Rimmel mascara.
Any new or old favorites discovered? MAC Spirit lipstick (old favorite I haven’t worn in a long time)
Any product you’re hoping to use next week? I’ve been diving back into old favorites for blush and lipstick, so lots to choose from in the coming week.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Look you loved this week?: I used the Pixi Reflex Light palette this week, with Vintage Gold over the lid, Antique Bronze over the lower lid, Auburn Blaze on the lower lid too and a touch of Cocoa Glaze next to the lash line and paired it with CP’s Foolish.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Pixi Beauty’s Reflex Light palette
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Dior’s Bonne Etoile.
Your skin tone/coloring: above under my name, brown hair w/highlights, hazel eyes
Look you loved this week?: it’s been too hot to wear a lot of makeup, so I’ve just been putting on a little eyeliner and mascara
Any new or old favorites discovered?: nope
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: It’s going to cool down next week I’ll miss the nice hot weather but we really need the rain as I’m sure a lot of places do. I hope to use some of my Temptalia/SG palettes at a small family birthday party we’re throwing for our son next Saturday.
Your skin tone/coloring: above
Look you loved this week?: Definitely the one I did using the It’s Freakin’ Bats palette earlier this week! It turned out great! I did a pop of green in the middle and purple all around and loved it!
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Shine by SD Sweet Nothing and It’s Freakin’ Bats palette from Shroud Cosmetics for new and Touch in Sol Aurora foiled shadow for older!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: More of my new Sydney Grace and Shine by SS shadows and my new highlighters from Sydney Grace!
Your skin tone/coloring: You know where to look 🙂 Grey-green eyes, dark brown hair
Look you loved this week?: A very simple one, I used Forget-Her-Not along the upper lash line, in the outer V and along what would be the crease, though hidden by the hoods. On the rest of the mobile lid I used Phosphenes. As transition colour I used Dearest Constant (light). It was simple, but looked quite good. I used a neutral blush and MAC Hey Frenchie lipstick. Around the tear duct I used Becca HL in Pearl.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Quite a new one to me, MAC Hey Frenchie must be my new go to lipstick, I have used it so many times since I bought it. I love everything about it, colour, texture, finish and it actually lasts really well.
I bought Becca Pearl Highlighter not long ago and I love it. I think the search for go to highlighter is done, at least until I finish this one. It’s perfect for my skin tone. (I just read the review for it, and found my thoughts on the review, it said that it could emphasize pores, so I decided not to get it, obviously I’m better at applying highlighter these days than I was back when it launched. (Late 2015)
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Sidney Grace X Temptalia, I have so much fun with the palettes. I love all three, I can’t chose a favourite. Also Hey Frenchie and EL Rebellious Rose lipstick. And Becca Pearl.
Look you loved this week?: I slapped on some of the Sydney Grace “Dear Reader” shade, makes for a great one-and-done look!
Any new or old favorites discovered?: As well as the “Dear Reader” single, I’ve been diving back into my Colourpop Super Shock Shadows
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I think I’m going to use one of my Sydney Grace palettes next week, probably Quintessence
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Look you loved this week?: I did a really beautiful look using the SG x Temptalia Quintessence Deep palette and a couple Clionadh shadows; Here’s the link if you want to see! https://www.instagram.com/p/CSecQKYL_9U/?utm_medium=copy_link
Any new or old favorites discovered?: The Shroud Cosmetics x Beautbean It’s Freakin’ Bats palette… my past experiences with Shroud weren’t great, but I ordered on a whim during the restock of this palette and I’m so pleased that I got it. The palette is so beautiful and has such a unique color story.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: My Lethal x Theresa is Dead palette came in, so I’m very excited to use that!
