Melt Cosmetics Daydreamer Cream Blushlight ($22.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium-dark, plummy brown with warm, reddish undertones and fine pearl. It had a natural sheen--not fully dewy but a little more luminous than my skin looked on its own.
The consistency was smooth, lightly creamy, and moderately emollient with a fair amount of slip--more than the shimmer-less shades in the same formula--that applied better with a brush than a fingertip for that purpose. In the photos, my initial application was using fingertips, but later on, when I actually went to test it out to actually wear and review, I used a brush, which gave me much more even, diffused coverage that I wasn't able to achieve readily with my fingertips.
It had semi-opaque, buildable coverage, though it could be used with a lighter hand or spread out more vigorously for a sheerer effect. I'd just recommend using a lighter hand, though, if sheerer coverage is desired. The product dried down and didn't feel tacky or wet to the touch but I had plenty of time to work with it, and it was still somewhat blendable (with a slightly denser, more dome-shaped brush) if I needed to do a little more blending. It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.
