Rare Beauty Nearly Neutral Stay Vulnerable Liquid Eyeshadow ($20.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a muted, coppery-brown with warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had semi-sheer to medium coverage in practice, though it could be built up to full coverage with two to three layers or if applied directly with the applicator and not really blended out along the edges.
The whipped, airier mousse texture made it easy to spread and blend out for a sheerer effect, which was intended by the brand, so I think it hit the mark there. Where it doesn't is that it is supposed to be buildable with layers of a product, but I found that wearing two layers or even one but at higher coverage (like semi-opaque and not really blended out) resulted in creasing by five hours. If I kept it to a sheerer wash of color, it lasted closer to seven and a half hours before creasing. I was surprised as it was quick to dry down and felt more powder-like with some flexibility.
