Your skin tone/coloring: NC15, cool yellow
Look you loved this week?: A look with NABLA Wild Berry palette, TF Love Lust blush, TF Gold Dust bronzer, Becca Pure Pearl highlighter, and NABLA Wild Berry lipstick.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Old favorite: Becca Pure Pearl highlighter. Becca is so easy for me to forget about, because I only associate them with highlighters and have only two of their products. I really like this pink highlighter. New favorite: Sydney Grace Chase Your Dreams. I saw a tutorial from Makeup Just For Fun, and I copied it. I really love it.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: ColourPop Wild Nothing. I couldn’t resist the cactii!
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes, dark hair).
Look you loved this week?: Yesterday, I did a rather monochromatic purple look and I was head over heels for it!
Eyes: Viseart Amethyst Theory palette #1 browbone, #3 transition, PML Divine Rose II Mothership Xtreme Burgundy in the crease and outer V, Skinshow Rose Opal inner corners and innermost lower lashline, Eleganza over entire mobile lid and mid to inner lower lashline. Black tightline and mascara, UD 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Alkaline to line eyes.
Cheeks: UD Jawbone and NOHO, MAC Double Gleam EDSF Highlighter.
Lips: ColourPop Bijou USLS with MJ Atomic lipgloss applied lightly over it.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: ColourPop Bijou USLS! And UD NOHO blush.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Whichever way the wind blows…if we get Monsoon, I will go more colorful, maybe? Like, sunset eyes? We’ll see!
Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cooler side of neutral undertones
Look you loved this week?: Haven’t been going out, so experimenting with colourful/sparkly eye looks and wearing a lip tint or gloss around the house to feel normal/enjoy my stash.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Colourpop Lux glosses are currently my favourite! I like warm terracotta shades, or a plumy pink depending on my outfit/mood.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I just received my Colourpop creme eyeshadows, and despite reviewing poorly, I love them so far (on their own), and want to try them out as a base if I feel like playing with eye makeup this week! I also got the new Mojave Moves Jelly Much shadow, and haven’t tried the formula yet but am excited by how sparkly and intense it swatched!
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Look you loved this week?: I am participating in a Week of Color challenge on Instagram and I’ve done a lot of colorful looks this week, but my fave, by far, was a champagne glittery eye with a neon green wing. I paired it both with a bold purple lip and a peach lip to see which I liked better (I liked both), a peachy cheek and a ton of highlighter.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: I just purchased Milk Makeup Lip Color in Hype and it’s one of the few lipsticks I’ve tried in a while that made me squeal with happiness. It’s perfect!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week? I hope I get my Oden’s Eye palettes so I can use them next week.
What a gorgeous eye look that one is – chamgagne shades are so beautiful. And it’s great to hear that you so enjoyed your new lipstick too.
Your look sounds beautiful!
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Look you loved this week?: Yes, I wanted a purple /plum look. so I used the plum shades in Mecca’s Eyephoria palette. I started with Tiana, from SG on the mobile lid, with the plum shade on the lower lid, and a soft mauvey shade in the crease and carefully blended them all in. I paired it with CP’s Liquid Courage.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: UD’s Mariposa
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I will keep using Mariposa and probably Stila In the Garden too.
Your look sounds very pretty!
Mariposa was one of those palettes that got away for me, and I always regret it.
Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
Look you loved this week?: I love the original Naked palette. I hope UD will bring it back in some special “retro” release. I used it last week for a more “dramatic” (I use the term lightly) eye look than I’ve been doing for a while. Toasted on the mobile lid; Darkhorse (which I rarely use but should use more – it’s so nice) in the crease and outer 1/4 of my mobile lid and Buck to sort of blend out. I haven’t used anything as dark as Darkhorse in quite some time but I loved the effect. Too Faced Sweetie Pie bronzer in place of blush (this is working quite well for me) and good ol’ MAC Craving on my lips.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Tarina Tarantino’s Dreamy palette – I pulled that out last week too and fell in love all over again!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Some Bare Minerals Ready duos and a quad. I wish they hadn’t been discontinued as those were some fantastic shadows.
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair with turquoise side shave; hazel/green eyes.
Look you loved this week?: EYES: TFSI. Mavie Take Me to…Tokyo Palette: Passport Renewal (base shade, as it ended up being too light for my crease as I originally intended), Harajuko (inner 1/3 of crease), Shinto Shrine (outer 2/3 of crease), Kawaii (foiled on inner 1/3 of lid), Bullet Train (outer 2/3 of lid), and Subculture (lower lash line over UD Eye Pencil in Love Drug); True + Luscious Triple Sevens HL (inner corner). UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Love Drug (upper and lower waterlines). UD Perversion Mascara. BROWS: ABH single e/s in Love Letter. LIPS: Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Tiger Tini. CHEEKS: True + Luscious Royal Flush Blush and Triple Sevens Highlighter. FACE: Wet n Wild Photo Focus Primer Water in In Love With Coco; Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation in Fair; Juvia’s Place I Am Magic Loose Powder in White Sands; Sephora Colorful Cotour in Tranquil; True + Luscious Serendipity Bronzer and Heaven Sent Highlighter; e.l.f. Original Mist & Set.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: II’m still really enjoying the True + Luscious Lucky Glow Palette. I pulled out the Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation (DC) for the first time in a while. I’d forgotten how great it looks.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: My new Copacetic Cosmetics palettes, and the Give Me Glow Vintage Rose Palette should be arriving next week (I finally caught a restock!).
