9 White Gold Eyeshadows That Bring the Bling
The best white gold eyeshadows are fantastic for brightening the eye area, whether used all over the lid as a wash of shimmer, on the inner tearduct to highlight, or on the center of the lid for a halo-effect. A few recommendations below are slightly deeper than truly white gold but would have a similar effect on medium/deeper skin but with a subtler white base (more of the sheen).
Pro tip: If you want to kick it up a notch, try applying your favorite shimmery/more metallic white gold hue with a dampened brush. If you’re not sure if the formula you’re working with is wet/dry, pick up the product first, then gently spritz your brush (or the back of your hand).
How do you like to wear or incorporate white gold eyeshadow into a look? Any favorites?

Love ColourPop Now & Zen! I have that one plus MAC Nylon and a Coloured Raine white gold shade I love, too.
I sometimes use shimmery shadows in white, offwhite, or pale gold or pale peach and an angled brush to precisely outline the inside V around my the very inner portion of my lashlines and around the tearduct creating a point at the deepest part of the tearduct. It brightens without being too noticeable and it also keeps too much brightness away from my textured lids. I do not like colours this bright or contrasty on my lid itself.
I have an old cargo pencil with bright white powder in it. I love the wide eyed look so it’s something I need to pick up. Great for inner eye!
Not sure I can do more Clionadh.. still haven’t recieved my feb order. It’s hard to pay $100 for es and wait so long now if I could forget about it?
Oh my goodness! That does not sounds good for my extensive order, to be send in September! I didn’t buy any make up since this lockdown thing, and thought I’d spoil myself with a Clionadh collection.
I hope to receive it before fall 🙂
They are super nice and to be fair there was the pandemic. But they kept saying they were sending them out and I even inquired by email bc they kept saying end of June. Then 1st week of July. I recieved shipping info yesterday. But they had issues before that from reading their ig. You just hafta have lots of patience or a short memory.
Hello Christine, I love these lists you put together and had a quick comment on the site formatting. I think there used to be a “view all swatches” link at the end of your lists to quickly compare the products. I don’t see it anymore -at least on mobile- and I miss the convenience of it. Would love to see it back in future site updates if possible.
The type of list I’m using doesn’t allow for that – roundups still have that feature, but this code never had it!
That must be what I’m thinking of. Thanks!
I use these kind of shades to dampen down any colour that has been too bright (my having too much colour on the eyeshadow brush) or too dark.
I tend to use creamy shades like the Champagne Life one from Coloured Raine or similar.
Thank you for this list Christine.
White Golds are my faves. I have little visible lid, so I like to keep it bright. I have a few mentioned here, but I also like to slap highlighters on the lid, like Mary Loumanizer.
I’m currently planning a white gold single es pan that is DC from MUR that I use both as es and highlight.
I…. don’t have any of these. Beyond shocked LOL
Do you have any faves? Let’s hear ’em!
Two of my all time favourites are in 2 LE/DC’d eyeshadow quads – MAC’s Posh Pedigree and Chanel Tisse Gabrielle. They both do such a good job of brightening up the inner corners of my eyes without looking shockingly artificial. I’ve got a teeny tiny pencil-type brush from POSH that is years (maybe a decade) old and that is perfect for placing these shadows and buffing them out a bit to diffuse the brightening effect. MAC’s Phloof and Dazzlelight are also pretty good for this but not as good as the other 2 I mentioned.
I love Urban Decay Zephyr for this purpose, it is smooth and very reflective (its very similar to MAC Nylon but a little less yellow, so it looks better on my pale skin). For such an inconspicuous shade I have gotten a few compliments on how well it highlights and opens my eyes. Love it so much 🙂
