The formula is supposed to have a "flexible, soft finish" that "never bleeds or smudges" with "intense color payoff." It is a liquid lipstick that doesn't fully dry down but has a more transfer-resistant finish, so while there might be a touch of product that comes off the first blot or two, eventually almost nothing transfers onto a glass. The formula definitely didn't bleed or feather on me.

The pigmentation was mostly opaque to fully opaque in a single layer, which applied fairly evenly and spread well across my lips. It doesn't have that clingy, full-on dry down of more matte liquid lipstick formulations, so it was more comfortable to wear and was lightly hydrating over time. I would be careful to let it "set" for a few minutes prior to pressing lips together as if I did so, it could cause some lifting--you have some play time during the initial application but then wait a couple of minutes for it to do it's "soft set."

It had a sweet mint scent but I didn't notice any taste.
