Here are swatches of all 15 new Boys from the Tom Ford Boys & Girls Lip Colors ($36.00 for 0.07 oz.) that debuted recently. The Boys features one new finish, which I don’t have much info on yet, but it is called “Soft Matte” and has a thinner, more velvety/silicone-heavy texture.

Maurice looks fabulous! But it also looks like all the other MAC Chili type shades I’ve been veering into for this upcoming autumn, I guess?
My picks: Maurice and Deveren, if I were to buy one, it would be one of those out of the Boys range.

I know I’ve said this before, but … I have a strong, strange aversion to wearing a lipstick named after some random person (or even a specific person). If the names were of mythical figures or literary characters, that would be different (assuming I identify with the character), but “Joe” lipstick — really?
Maurice is really the only one that stands out.
Agreed– I wonder if it’s because it’s the fall color and all the rest of them look like Spring.
No standouts for me. Some of them look a bit patchy too
Maurice does look nice, but there are a few that are quite similar. Not too impressed.
None of these are calling my name so I won’t be picking any up. There are some pretty shades but I keep thinking lately that all the releases look like they have so many similar colours. I mean several e/s palettes lately have had colours that barely swatch differently and now these lippies look pretty similar across the board. Maybe I have just become jaded?
I’m not seeing much differentiation in the colour groups, no real standouts for me.
I don’t expect Sterling to get a good grade by the looks of it here… but I MUST have it bc I named one of my sons Sterling!!
