Sephora Margs & Treat Yo Self Lipstories Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Margs (70)
Sephora Margs (70) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a muted, medium sage green with subtle,w arm undertones and a cream finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single, fluid stroke. The color adhered evenly and smoothly across my lips with just a smidgen of product that gathered in my deeper lip lines, though it wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance. The consistency was creamy, lightweight, and comfortable to apply and to wear. It stayed on nicely for four hours and was lightly moisturizing while worn.

- ColourPop Charm (LE, $7.00) is more shimmery, lighter, cooler (85% similar).
- Fenty Beauty Midnight Wasabi (P, $18.00) is darker, warmer, less glossy (80% similar).

Formula Overview
$8.00/0.14 oz. - $57.14 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "lightweight" with "full-coverage color in one swipe." The majority of shades were pigmented with semi-opaque to full color payoff in a single layer, as described. The more shimmery shades tended to be a bit sheerer overall, while the mattes and creams were usually closer to opaque in coverage.
The textures were typically creamy, lightweight, and not too thin or too thick on the lips, so they were comfortable to apply and to wear. There were some shades where the color pulled into my deeper lip lines upon application, and it was more or less noticeable just depending on the color and finish of the particular.
Some shades seemed hydrating and others were non-drying. They lasted anywhere from three to over six hours on me. There was a subtle, sweet, fruity scent (I couldn't detect it on, just in the tube), and I haven't noticed any taste after wearing them.

Treat Yo Self (71)
Sephora Treat Yo Self (71) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a bright, medium-dark gold with strong, warm orange undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish with a glossy sheen. It had medium coverage, at best, that applied unevenly with so-so dispersion of the shimmer/micro-glitter. I could feel a slight grittiness from the amount of shimmer and sparkle in the lipstick as I applied it, though it wasn’t painful or sharp to me–just glittery in texture. It wore well for three and a half hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

I’m thrilled that Margs is good! It kind of reminds me of J*’s Dirty Money, but it’s not an exact dupe. I’m getting it!
Surprisingly hard to dupe – that mutedness + undertone make it quite special.
Margs would be a fantastic shade….for an eyeshadow. Great quality and fabulous pigmentation for a green lipstick, I will say!
I know that I don’t have any need for Treat Yo Self, because I already have the far superior Bite Gold lipgloss. This lipstick could have been far more even in its coverage/pigmentation and then it would have been a glorious topper shade.
Margs went on surprisingly well!
I was thinking Margs be better as an eyeshadow as well.
I love Margs in eyeshadow form, not sold on lipstick until I can apply it and see.
I hope you can try it!
I am definitely going to need Margs in my collection of green lipsticks!
Enjoy, AJ!
Quite unique shades Sephora has going there, at least Margs is a good one.
Always fun to see something different!
Finally a pretty unique lipstick shade!!!! Can’t wait to get Margs. As Rachel said, it’s close to Jeffree Star’s Dirty Money but imo better bc it’s a creamy lipstick!
I’m tickled that the green ended up in the “A” range.
