Fenty Beauty Poutsicle Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.10 oz.) is supposed to have “bold” color with a “juicy, satin finish.” They’re bright, bold, and fairly pigmented (some being opaque, a couple being a bit under) with a smooth, creamy consistency that feels like a cross between a lipstick and a lip balm with a touch of tackiness but feels quite lightweight on. They have a bit of slip, so those who may find feathering to be a frequent issue may still want to pair with a lip liner or primer (but I didn’t experience feathering myself).

The shades lasted between four and six hours on me with some shades staining. The formula was lightly to moderately hydrating. They had a sweet, vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Good quality. They are also quite beautiful shade choices, too. Just a bit *too* neon for me, I’m thinking. Well, except Hot Blooded. We know I already have far too many reds, though.

TBT moment! True fact; When I was WAY younger and doing lots of heavy highlights in my big spiral permed Jersey Gurl hair, plus, didn’t bother using sunscreen, I actually wore a matte neon pink lipstick of the same shade as Alpha Doll! ?

I’ve had Hot Blooded and Tropic Tantrum on my too buy list since these launched. I still have’t pull the trigger and am not sure that I am going to. I have so many similar shades that these would get lost in the mix, I think. I am glad to see that overall , these did really well. I am very happy for RiRi that she has been so successful in her brand launch into makeup and glad to see that with a few misses she has been able to provide mostly very good products with unusual shades and formula’s.

HI and thanks Christine!
II have two fo them, Purpsicle and Alpha Doll and may purchase my first blue lipstick the Go Deep and the orange one, Sun Snatched (looked nice on me, though my son thought otherwise 😉 ) The only thing that bothers me is again with the suggestive name on Go Deep, but maybe its me. Ha!

With the exception of the blue lipsticks, H&M has EXACT dupes for all the other shades. The ones from H&M were actually released first.
