Worth the Wait

Marc Jacobs Beauty Worth the Wait O!Mega Glaze All-Over Foil Luminizer ($49.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a pale gold with subtle, warm undertones and a soft, metallic sheen. For those who find most gold-hued highlighters to be “too warm,” then this is about as cool-toned as you can find without it pulling green. The powder was incredibly smooth, finely-milled, and felt cream-like, but it wasn’t too dense and was easy to pick up with fan brushes and tapered highlighting brushes. It had a smooth, shiny finish that was radiant without emphasizing my skin’s natural texture and could be built up to a more intense, full-on metallic finish with a second layer. It stayed on well for almost nine hours on me before fading a bit.

Glazed Donut is warmer and a bit more intense (more quickly), so it’s really more about whether you want something that’s cooler vs. warmer and whether you want something that’s more buildable in finish or more intense. They’re both quality products so it comes down to what one’s looking for or what you’re likely to pair it with.

This is so gorgeous. I watched TaraBabys YouTube video on hauling this highlighter and she said it was the closest dupe to Chanel’s Camelia De Plumes she’s ever seen (which I have from 2012!!! But never touched bc it was too beautiful and collectible) so I have to get one. She also said it seemed quite thick. Would you say that Christine?

I was hoping it would be a cool toned white similar to Becca’s Pearl since warm white and gold do pull green on me. Glazed Donut is like that. Did you find that it has any noticable glitter or sparkle when applied or it is more of a wet sheen? Thank you Christine!

This is a beautiful tone that I feel would work well with my complexion, especially since their last one was just so warm and gold that I had no hope of it looking good on me. I see it’s LE, so it probably won’t be around for very long, but if it does well they could bring it back…it’s just so much product! I have their bronzer in that pan size and it will last me forever! If this was going to be one of my only highlighters I would say definitely, but for now I’m gonna hold off. Mainly it’s the price, tbh. I know the quality is good, but I have others on your dupe list so I don’t feel like I’m missing out.

Oh my *_* it is stunning!! Luckily I have camelia de plumes so I will be passing on this, but this is so beautiful. Marc Jacobs rarely disappoints!

When I saw this, I was really excited. I called the Rouge line at Sephora and was told this is online only. They only have about 5,000 in stock for the limited edition release. Anyone thinking about this one should purchase it very quickly. It does not show up on any other website; including MJ Beauty. I have no idea when/if he may be stocking other sites. I didn’t want to take the chance. I wanted to share this info with all of you since it’s such a unique looking highlight without glitter. Thank you, Christine. ❤️

Thank you! I ordered it… I simply couldn’t resist. I was just watching reviews on YouTube and do you know what a girl said? That this looks exactly like Mac Nylon lol what you think?
