Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite look from the week: a real “less is more” look – Too Faced Dream On eyeshadow (just to cover any discolourations on my lids) and Marc Jacobs skinny liner in Submarine to tightline; no standard eyeliner, no foundation or powder or even blush but Smashbox Red Rage on my lips!
Your most used product this week: Sephora Cappuccino liner and A Cup of Coffee eyeshadow
Any beauty discoveries… yup – I really like my “less is more” look and it saves me a shed-load of time!

Your skin tone/coloring: Next to my name. (blue-green eyes)

Favorite look from the week: Whatever the heck I did yesterday before I finally got to the laudremat! The lady taking care of the place complemented it and asked me what I used! Eyes: CP It’s My Pleasure palette for most of it. Kittenfish transition and crease, then used CP Jelly Much in Hallucinogenius on entire mobile lid, went in with Chick Lit on outer V (buffed upwards and blended into Kittenfish) and outer lower lashline, DO Or Dough on inner half of lower lashline and outer mobile lid carefully blended into Hallucinogenius, KVD Amethyst from Alchemist. My usual black tightliner, gel wing and mascara, plus Sephora Purple Stilettos Contour Liner on outer 2/3 lower lashline. Cheeks: Nyx Taupe for contour, Nars Blissful blush and CP Angel Food highlighter. Lips: Nyx Purple RAIN SLP with CP Ponyland lipgloss. A very soft, light look for me!

Your most used product this week: Mascara, brows, and combining samples from MAC Studio Fix in C4.5 and N6.5 for the perfect match. Nothing else has ever looked this perfect on me yet! Oh, and whatever random lipgloss I pick for the day and a touch of blush.

Any beauty discoveries (new or old)? Yes! After neglecting my very old, yet not rancid, tube of MAC Russian Red, I remembered what it was that I loved about it when I bought it in the first place. It is the quintessential perfect true blue-red. It just looks like pure class poured out onto one’s lips. How I did not realize this these past few years, I do not know!

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Favorite look from the week: I was wearing a leopard print top yesterday and decided to use my Sultry palette for the eye look: Pearl all over the lid, Steampunk on the lower lid, with a smidgeon of Dystopian in the crease – dusted with Teak over it. I paired it with my Clarins Jolie Rouge lipstick in Spicy Cinnamon, which more a pumkin bronze shade. Very happy with the result.

Your most used product this week: All my staples.

Any beauty discoveries (new or old): None really this week, I just wish autumn would hurry up and come here.

Most Used Products: ABH Brow Wiz, Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, RCMA No Color Powder

Skin tone/coloring: fair-light neutral

Favorite look from the week: eyes done with the new ABH Riviera using Estate (crease transition), Bahamas (outer V), Sails (to soften Bahamas) and Mediterranean on the mid-inner lid. It was much more colourful and out of character for me, but my nail tech commented on how nice it looked.

Most used product this week: Tatcha Silk Canvas, new Face Tape Foundation in Fair-light neutral (I love the new pump style rather than the doe-foot like the Shape Tape foundation, and it seems looser than Shape Tape, but with less coverage IMO), and Shape Tape concealer in fair.

Beauty discoveries: I have a slightly oily nose that weirdly sweats, more on one side than the other. I came across a sample tube of It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Waterproof concealer in my stash, and set it down on my nose under my foundation and it seems to really help! I’m thrilled to find something I don’t seem to sweat right off my nose. I’ll definitely buy it going forward!

Your skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 15-20, medium brown hair and eyes

Favorite look from the week: Been using my Pur Minerals Soul Mattes Eyeshadow Palette. Used bone shade to set my eyeshadow primer, sample of UD Primer Potion. Put camel shade in the crease/to transition. Wore MAC Greensmoke on outer half of eyelid. Put MAC Swimming on inner half of eyelid. Patted a bit of MAC Pressed Pigment in Blonde Streak on top. Used an old Green eyeliner from Rimmel on upper lashline. Layered Marc Jacobs Blacquer on top. Used MAC Haute n Naughty Too Black Mascara on upper lashes. Wore Loreal Glam Bronze to Bronze face. Wore MAC Sweater Weather blush and String Lights highlighter from Shiny Pretty Things Holiday Face Palette. For lips I wore a MAC Patent Polish Lip Color from Sharon Osborne collection in the shade Ruby. Been using lots of my MAC stuff lately:)

Your most used product this week: All of my MAC products!

Any beauty discoveries (new or old): I learned a trick for wearing MAC *lustre specifically* eyeshadows (thanks to Karen from Makeup and Beauty Blog!) You don’t swipe or pat when applying MAC lustre eyeshadows. You buff them onto the eye. It packs on the color and you have little to no fallout. Mind blown! All these years of struggle of spraying down my brush w Fix + and never being quite satisfied w that formula so I avoided these eyeshadows. I do have a few and I tried it and omg it truly works. Now I see why Retrospect is so lovely. Worked with Swimming and Greensmoke too. Love discovering new things!
