10 x Anastasia Norvina Eyeshadow Palette Look Ideas
Anastasia Norvina Eyeshadow Palette ($42.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a new, limited edition 14-shade palette with a mix of shimmers and mattes. When I worked with the palette, I longed for more contrast as I did not feel like there was enough depth to get more definition out of the palette–it had a tendency to muddy a little more readily than other palettes by the brand, though I owed that more to the similarity in depths/tones than an issue with blending or quality.
About This Series
Each look idea is centered around a “quad” of four shades with the expectation that one might bring in the appropriate brow bone or additional transitional shade based on skin tone. I know that I tend to use more like five or six shades in a typical look, but I think that four is a happy medium to give a good idea of the “core” color scheme of a look while giving you the ability to lighten/darken as desired. I have listed the colors in this order: inner lid, middle of lid, outer lid/crease, and crease/above crease.
You might see combinations that seem slightly repeated but placement will vary (e.g. a halo placement where the lightest and more shimmery shade is placed on the center) as placement can also create a different effect/look! You might also want to consider incorporating your favorite matte/shimmer shades (as applicable) to increase the versatility of certain palettes. Consider these ideas a jumping off point!

To get or not to get, that is my dilemma. I am enthralled by these softer tones of purple and pink, yet I have to admit that having ND Lila, PMG La Vie En Rose, plus Viseart Amethyst and various singles like MAC Indian Ink, Crystal, Selena, Da Bling and Free To Be, may all be more than enough. Input welcomed!

Very pretty looks! I am just getting tired of the lack of cool toned palettes on the market. I understand that warm sells, but I have to think there are plenty of people out there wanting cooler tones. I was initially very excited about this palette because I thought it would be cooler than what it is. Thank you for the beautiful looks and review.
