We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! I’d like to see some pretty greys, blue-greys and silverish shades. Kinda tired of red, reddish orange. Beautiful but getting weary…

I am eyeing this as a possible one palette to take to Europe in the fall. Swatches look mostly good to great and likely those that are a little lackluster will be helped with primer which I always use anyway. It has a light enough brow bone shade for me and good transition shades with enough depth to darken the outer V. Also enough variety so that I don’t get bored. Depending on reviews it is likely a contender!!

Had a dreadful day at both jobs, and with this, all I can hear is Cheap Trick, I Want You To Want Me. Somebody please brain me with a Kimberly Clark anti-haul video. Hopefully, it’s DTD (duped to death.)

I am eager to see the dupe list for this. Some of the swatches are underwhelming while a couple stand out to me like Drift, Smog, and Accelerate. I’m glad it’s going to be permanent though! I’m getting tired of everything being “limited edition” these days and all the hype that comes with that.

Smog, you are the reason why I don’t want this palette…. seriously it’s a nice shade but I have way too much palette with you in it. Come on UD.

I just feel disappointed when I see yet another new Modern Renaissance-esque palette. And is that the same Riff that I own as a single shadow? I really don’t like when new palettes use old shades.

(As a side note, “Born to Run” seems like a funny choice of a name for eye makeup. At least it’s not mascara or eyeliner!)

For me, an ‘all in one’ palette has to have a mix of warm and cool natural shades. This palette would be great if you only want looks that are grounded in warm tones, but it’s too limited for me.

I use most of these types of shades. I love that it’s all in one palette. But I have many of them in my collection already. If only I had waited before buying singles.

Looks very pretty on. And this looks like great colors for eyes of all colors. Even more amazing for green and blue. Have to see in person, though. They look pretty pigmented, but to make sure they’re not like that Nars Wanted palette that swatched strong, but didn’t have enough pigment on. They look really nice on from what I can see.

Punk is a great liner shade – I use it all the time from the Gwen Stefani palette. I have it as a single but I prefer it in the palette (it’s a touch plummier there).

Emily Avatar

Hey, Christine, do you know (since you apparently spoke to a UD rep?) if these shades will be or might be added to the singles lineup in the future? If I could split this palette in two, I’d leave out the Modern Ren dupes (all the warm bronzes, browns, reds, and oranges) and keep the bottom half (starting with Smog… but swap out Wildheart for Guilt Trip and add Good as Gone and add Breakaway or Weekender to make the full half). If wishes were horses…

The three I’m really hoping to see as singles are the last 3. Drift looks like a dupe for thePat McGrath shade Divine Mink which I wanted as a standalone, too!

The basis for my question was the release of Thunderbird and a few others from a limited edition collection not so long ago. I was hoping they’d finally realized some of the LE shades could be a great addition *every time*, not just every decade or so!

I love the look of this palette. I just realized it is one of the few palettes that I would wear every shade in it. It looks like I custom curated it for myself.
