I’ve been trying to add The Emily Edit–The Wants, but it doesn’t work as a write-in.
It was received, Seraphine 🙂
Thanks, Christine!! It was giving me a message that made it seem like I was not doing something right (can’t remember exactly what it said).
And you guys had to remind me to haul a houseful of Juvia. My wallet is sending you evil eyes. The colorful that suits me, but I don’t think it is best, universal, or even all that colorful, is Zoeva Offline. The pairings and looks are so easy with that one. But, as with much of Zoeva, it is more suitable for the lighter end of the skintone spectrum. For choosing this ‘colorful,’ I think it should hit the whole spectrum. Maybe the UD BTR, which I don’t have. I do have kvd mm, and UD V2/3, all of which I like. But I think my vote will be for Viseart Bijoux Royale.
Ps/btw, cannot put in my identifying info on the drop downs. “No options.” Maybe it is iPad incompatibility. And I forgot to say how much I like the new design with the drop down boxes on the shade pages, for ingredients, in a set, etc. Very clean and easy to understand/access. Team Temptalia is the best.
This should be fixed!
Also, thank you on the design feedback – there is so much info and we are trying to figure out a better way to make it clear that it all exists… without having to scroll (primarily thinking about mobile users… have to focus on mobile first, then desktop).
I have lots of colourful palettes that I added as my favourites:
Urban Decay Spectrum and Vice 2
bareMinerals: The Soft and Smoky and The Playlist
Lorac Pro Metals
I also think that the BH Foil Eyes 1 & 2 are great budget alternatives as well.
I’m not sure how it compares to some of the higher end ones listed here, but I really enjoy the Nyx Ultimate Brights palette. It’s mostly not “wearable” on its own, and with some colours I have to give it a bit of help in terms of pigment (Nyx jumbo eye pencil underneath), but it’s a lot of fun for experimentation/ playing which I’d rather not do with higher end products.
I tried to enter my recommendation for Kat Von D’s “Mi Vida Loca Remix” but I couldn’t complete the required fields to submit. 🙁
This should be fixed!
Great list! I still have so much fun playing with Saint & Sinner, that palette sparks so much creativity for me (although, I don’t really feel like buying from KVD in the future… may just enjoy what I have). Vice 2 is classic, that was my first holiday palette ever and I loved/love that thing to death. I created so many cringy looks with that duochrome purple shade!
I wish Urban Decay would do a revamped Electric palette and make sure it’s high quality, unlike some of their recent limited edition stuff. Aside from the Naked palettes, they’re known for bright unique colors, it’s something they should really have in their permanent line!
