My skin tone/coloring: Medium w/ olive undertones MAC NC37, Lancôme Teint Idole 24H Foundation N360, Fenty ProFilt’r Foundation 260 or 290, deep brunette, blue-green eyes w/ gold flecks.
Favorite look you worn: On Wednesday, I did an eye look using UD x Kristen Leanne Kaleidoscope that had me oohing and ahhing! Eyes: MAC Orb browbone, Kid transition, Viseart Chroma shade 2 (deep black-brown) to create a gradient into Kid blown out an up, UD 13th floor on entire lid from lashline into the black-brown shade, Leo applied over most of 13th floor, except for crease and outer V, Brixton in tear duct. On lower lashline, again 13th Floor and Leo, plus some smudged MJ Blaquer underneath. Very winged eyeliner on upper lid using my HG Essence Midnight In Paris Gel Liner, curled lashes and mascara. Kept cheeks and lips a more toned down peachy nude tone.
Most used product of the week: Definitely UD x Kristen Leanne Kaleidoscope Palette!
Any new beauty discoveries: That at nearly 59, I can *still* rock a very deep, dark, smokey eye look and somehow not look ridiculous? ?
I bet it looked sensational Nancy – you rock your looks very well I think!
Thank you for the confidence boost, Genevieve!
Put the pic up, if you took one. Sounds great.
That look sounds gorgeous!
My skin tone/coloring: fair/warm
Favorite look you wore: elf Mad for Matte Summer Breeze, elf Molten Liquid Eyeshadow in Liquid Gold, Essence Longlasting Eyeliner Pen in Brown, Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara (deluxe sample), Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush in Pearlescent Pink, Laura Geller Baked Highlighter in French Vanilla (deluxe sample), elf Flawless Finish Foundation in Porcelain/Natural, LA Girl Pro Concealer in Green, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, and Essence Make Me Brow Gel in Soft Brown.
Most used product of the week: NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Yogurt
Any new beauty discoveries: nope
My skin tone/coloring: Fair, cool
Favorite look you wore: easy/peasy looks again this week – from Tarte Aqualillies, Barefoot all on the mobile lid and Sundeck in the crease; Sephora Cappuccino to line and Marc Jacobs skinny liner in Blacquer on the upper waterline; MAC Brick-o-la on my lips and, for a change, an IT Cosmetics blush that came in a CC face trio a few years ago
Most used product of the week: Sephora Cappuccino liner (it’s one of my go-to’s)
Any new beauty discoveries: I “rediscovered” Clinique’s Jenna’s Essentials eyeshadow quad (I think they may have discontinued it, which is a shame) and MAC Brick-o-la (I really want to finish it before it goes “off”)
My skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Favourite look you worn: Yesterday I used the most beautiful olive shade – Spectacular from the bareMinerals duo The Scenic Route, with Hustle and Half baked from UD Naked 1 and it was very pretty.
I paired it with my new EA lipstick Cayene Pearl – a lovely russet shade.
Most used product of the week: All my stapes – Elf Flawless foundation in porcelain, Clarins Prodige blush in soft peach, Naked 2 and Clarins Jolie Rouge lipstick in Cinnamon Spice.
Any new beauty discoveries: That I love it when our Budget beauty shop Priceline has a 40% off all skincare sale!
Sorry to report a dull week for me with color cosmetics . I have been doing a lot of playing with all my new skin care purchases from The Ordinary and Algenist . Basically I’m seeing how many The Ordinary products I can pile on without irritating my skin ! I did try the Tarte Maneater eyeliner and liked it s lot .
?. A lot. I’ve done at least 4, and prob with other products. Always choose the waterbased, but i’m aged/oily/dehydrated…and now psoriatic. Don’t get me started.
My skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Favorite look you worn: EYES — UD Primer Potion in Enigma. UD x Kristen Leanne single in S.G.H. in crease and lower lid. Coastal Scents Shadow Pot in Bright Tangerine (outer corners, true crease), MUG e/s single in Bitten (deepening true crease, lining lower lashline). Violet Voss The Rainbow Palette: Buttercup (lid/halo), Seaform (center of lid), and Pearl (brow bone). SugarPill Loose Eyeshadow in Lumi (nner corners). ABH e/s single in Love Letter (brows). Tarte Tarteist Clay Paint Liner in Aubergine (cat eye liner). Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara. UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Perversion (upper waterline). BLUSH — MUFE Artist Shadow in ME734 Tangerine. LIPS — Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in A Go-Go lined with UD 24/7 Lip Pencil in Crash. FACE — Nyx Angel Veil; KVD Lock-It Tattoo Foundation in 42 Neutral; e.l.f. HD Powder in Sheer; Sephora Tranquil (contour); e.l.f. Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls.
Most used product of the week: Besides my dailies, Kat von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation. My cystic acne mega-attach is clearing up, but still there, so I downgraded coverage slightly. Also, my Coastal Scents Shadow Pot palette I put together. I always seem to be using those bright mattes for something.
Any new beauty discoveries: Igneous Cosmetics (Etsy) came out with a vegan, matte eyeshadow collection earlier in the month. The colors are gorgeous and the texture is amazing. I’m so impressed with how great they are.
Can’t right now, esp eye looks, but I do concealer as tolerated. (Psoriasis) Dead is not a good look, unless it’s on purpose. It hit my vermilion border (lip line; my inner slp is showing.). Enough OTS. I wanted to tell the reader that was looking for tubing masc, sorry, I don’t remember who: There is a new tubing by Eyeko on Ulta, if you use them. It’s called YOGA and has one of the stranger brushes out there. I like the other eyeko (Black magic/ dark navy) that I have, and have hopes for yoga.
