MAC Get It Glowin' Hyper Real Glow Palette Review, Photos, Swatches
Get It Glowin'
MAC Get It Glowin’ Hyper Real Glow Palette ($39.50 for 0.45 oz.) is a new, limited edition gold and copper-hued highlighting trio that launches on February 15th. All three shades had semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation with soft, blendable textures that were easy to use. Two of the shades were very similar, especially applied, and I would have liked to have seen more differentiation since they’re within the same palette.

Gold Coasting
Gold Coasting is a light-medium gold with warm, yellow undertones and a metallic finish. It was just slightly darker compared to Get It Glowin’, but the two were extremely similar to have in the same palette. The texture was smooth, almost cream-like, and very easy to apply and blend out on my cheeks. It had opaque color payoff that stayed on well for eight and a half hours on me.

Get It Glowin'
Get It Glowin’ is a soft, light-medium gold with warm, yellow undertones and a metallic sheen. It had semi-opaque, buildable color payoff with a smooth, moderately dense texture that wasn’t too stiff in the pan, so I had no trouble picking up product with my brush and it still blended out easily. It wore well for eight hours.

Rosy Cheer
Rosy Cheer is a medium-dark, golden copper with warm undertones and a metallic finish. The consistency was soft, smooth, and blendable without being too softly or too firmly pressed in the pan. It had rich color payoff that applied easily to my cheeks, blended out well, and lasted for a solid eight and a half hours before I noticed any fading.

What was MAC thinking putting together these unbelievably redundant shades in ONE single palette?!? It’s just stupidity on their part, I think! Oh well, I’m definitely not lacking for gold highlighters, that’s for sure. The only future gold highlight I intend on buying is the cream stick Hourglass Gold Highlighter.
Christine for your skin tone do you prefer this one or the Flash & Awe ? Have been waiting for your review thank you for a great one as always !!
They’re really interchangeable for me; I’d wear them equally. I’d look more at what type of highlighters you already own and what you reach for most.
