I would love to buy some pieces to support an over 30 beauty guru (there are just so few of them!) but Too Faced…no…I wish she had collaborated with someone else.

I’ll still wait to see swatches. 🙂

Emily O Avatar

Yep! Many things had me arriving at the same conclusion but the Jeffree Star collab sealed the deal. Additionally, the idea of purposefully smelling up MU is beyond the pale for me.

Kalliela Avatar

I got a cavity readin this. Ummm think these are easy passes for me..however..if the liner smelled like licorice that would kinda cool..but what purpose does that have? Lol. Maybe it’s a good liner though who knows lol.

Artificial nana scents are usually kinda bad but who knows…and not feelin the photoshopped line. I don’t like that pitch very much. A powder would never give you that nor would I really want one that did..cause that would be weird. Lol. Fotoshop..by Adobay…”my skin feels like plastic!” Such a great video. Lol.

I did think those peach blush compacts were cute though..but can’t say I am “coveting” this line much.

I use to watch Kandee all the time and then a few years ago I stopped. Not sure why. Collection looks pretty but since I am not purchasing from Too Faced at this time, I think I will pass. It will have to have stellar reviews for me to support Too Faced again.

Nicole Avatar

I like the take on Kandee’s name to make all the shadows in the palette sweets-related names, but I’ve all been burned too many times by TooF (“Sweet TooF?”) to jump on board. The only thing I’ve seen from them lately that remotely piqued my interest in the Peachy Mattes palette, but I’m not buying that until I see some reviews online because I don’t trust that it will perform as well as it looks.

There’s just too many brands coming out with the same shades these days. This is a big yawn for me. Also, I don’t like Too Faced’s scented products. I love the Sweet Peach palette’s colors, but hate that strong artificial peach smell that hits me when I open it. (But I do love the very subtle scents of MAC and Amuse Bouche lipsticks.)

thirteenthirteen Avatar

The palette looks pretty cute for a beginner, although who knows about the quality from the picture. As for the scent…PUKE. I hate actual bananas and their horrible scent, I cannot even imagine wearing an artificially scented banana face powder. I know I’m not alone, either, I think a lot of people have a distaste for banana smell. I think this is a super questionable marketing decision.

Nancy T Avatar

If I could be ? that the Banana Pudding powder didn’t contain Sodium Saccharin, I would love to have it. Seeing that multiple colored shades within it tells me that this could enliven ones skintone possibly!
As for the rest? Yawnfest! Especially knowing that the eyeshadows likely have Sodium Saccharin in them. Possibly the lipsticks, too. That chemical only gives me serious reactions when it makes contact with mucus membranes like, my eyes or mouth, on me personally.

Rachael Avatar

I actually really like the colors in this palette. I feel like there’s a fair amount of looks you can do with this. Hopefully the scents aren’t strong. The peach palette scent fills my whole bathroom, and not in the best way. I left it open for 3 weeks trying to get it to fade.

Susan Dowman Nevling Avatar

All these scents really sound disgusting to me. I hate licorice and although I love bananas, I dislike fake scents and flavors of them.

kalliela Avatar

Wondering if Sweet n Sour will be similar to a Panda Express flavor packet?:) Which makes me wonder, why nobody has come out with a sriracha scented product yet.

With fall coming..I am kinda surprised TF won’t be doing a Pumpkin Spice collection, still lots of time though 🙂 I admit..I would sniff wanna sniff those. Lol

Miska Avatar

Meh. Since the introduction of their “scented” eye palettes I’m over TF. I have multiple allergies and nothing scented is going anywhere near my eyes…ever!!! I just have to give a shout out to Nancy T again. In short, you shared your personal story and saved me from using this junk on my eyes and having a horrible allergic reaction. Very much appreciated Nancy T. Thank you!!! I can deal with some scented lip products but thats about it. It’s a hard No for me. I agree with others comments that this looks like the same old thing from TF being released. Maybe the target is a younger crowd, like teens? Well at least their Le Creme lipsticks are good!

Brenda Avatar

I like Freshly Baked but I’m not sure I like it enough to buy. The face powder is interesting but the rest just looks like regurgitated products from previous LE collections. Plus it’s Too Faced that alone makes me skeptical.

Layla Moore Avatar

I love anything Too Faced. I love their shadows, they work so good for me. I absolutely live for the scented makeup! If I weren’t so poor, I would buy everything Too Faced put out.

Lulle Avatar

At this point I’ve given up on Too Faced eyeshadow palettes and I don’t think I’m the only one. I have one of their Le Holiday palettes from about 5 years ago, and the shades are exactly the same as what they included in this one, with a few exceptions. How many crappy sparkly purple do I need? Answer: zero…

Katherine T. Avatar

It’s a cute looking collection, but I can’t take fragrance on my skin! And I sniffed the Sweet Peach shadow palette in store, made me want to gag, the smell was so strong and artificial smelling, ugh. I hope the collection scores well for those interested but IDK, since Too Faced is absolutely notorious for over-hyping mediocre products and creating artificially limited stock to feed impulsive FOMO buys , I would say buyer beware

Nicole D Avatar

Same issue here, Katherine, with the fragrance in the Too Faced eye palettes; my eyes were so watery to the point that I had to remove the eyeshadows. I let the palette in the open, but to no avail as the fragrance did not go away. Never in my life had this issue before. So I stay away from their eye/face products.

Terry Avatar

I’ll pass I’m done with all these beauty guru collars most of them are sub par the only thing I ever got was the ud Gwen palette because those are my colors still use it even have a backup. I never cared much for too faced past the original chocolate bar way too much sub par junk released esp at Christmas I think they surpassed Mac! Lol!

Erica Avatar

This is kind of a snooze tbh. Easy pass. Sorry I’m not in the business of supporting beauty gurus. They get a set amount per their contract. Not like they get more the more palettes that are sold. Too Face does but I’m burnt out with all the TF releases!

Helene Avatar

I have a feeling it would be scent overload even for me. I don’t mind scent in products, but this sounds too much. I also think, having a holiday palette from a few years back and the chocolate palette I don’t need any more Too Faced eyeshadows.
The powder sounds interesting, but much as I like bananas I don’t like the artificial banana scent.
This collection would have to get A+ for me to even think about buying any of the items in it.
Sorry Kandee.

Emily O Avatar

I just have to say, again, perfumed make up? Products put allover your skin, near mucus membranes? It’s migraine city for someone like me and I would definitely smell it on someone else and have to steer clear of them. This has already happened and makes me feel sad for the unnecessary avoidance and angry at the terrible decisions this company is making. It’s not 1968, the gimmick is really immature and harmful in my case. Your face doesn’t need highly artificially fragranced powder all over it. It makes me sad that I have to steer clear of a particularly lovely co-worker for this reason. But she really loves her chocolate bar palette and I can smell it as soon as I’m within speaking distance, Too Faced created a product that requires I keep my distance from someone, and that seems ridiculous and inane. Rant over !

Naomi Avatar

The face powder contains talc and corn starch…corn starch and my face don’t get along at all, the powder is the one product that I really wanted. I’m kinda disappointed at the price point the powder is selling at, I would expect higher quality ingredients in a $30 face powder.
