Kat Von D Everlasting Glimmer Veil Liquid Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.18 fl. oz.) is a new liquid lipstick from the brand that launches officially on August 22nd (online) and August 25th (in-stores). The range released for one day last week, which was when I purchased the new shades. There are nine shades in total ranging from a peachy gold to a soft black. The formula is supposed to ahve “24-hour wear in a rich, glimmery, non-gritty formula” with a “liquid stain base.”

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

These swatched better than I was thinking they would..I like at least four of them. I haven’t liked any of the the smurf blues from any lines..but satellite is impressive from the swatch. Not bad…except again…for my wallet potentially.

Let us also note the amount of product. .18 oz, which is much more than some of the newer formulas coming out lately. Has anyone else noticed this trend of companies releasing liquid lipsticks / lip toppers with VERY little product (like .10 oz) instead of the normal amounts (like these have) and charging just as much? Props to kat von d for not ripping her customers off!

I’d like any kind of excuse to wear some of these colors (the blue Satellite one in particular) they look like so much fun – a costume party? Disco theme night? Halloween? Day of the Dead? At my age I need an excuse!

How about grocery shopping? Works for me haha. Hope this is ok to say..but I say wear it cause you wanna wear it! But costume and halloween would be really fun too..disco..definitely hehe.

How about it is Friday night? Or maybe the 1st of the month. All days of the week that end with “day” is a potential reason. I think these are super fun and would go for it if I were you, Betty!!

All the colors look very beautiful and I just watched on Youtube the Kat Von D’s video where she uses the everlasting glimmer over her matte liquid lipstick, but some colors I think I get something similar with other brands, but for sure I will get the Reverb and Televator, they are both GORGEOUS!!!

I watched KVD’s video where she swatched them and then used them over other lipsticks as a true topper. They were really fun and so I am going to get at least a couple of them. I didn’t think I would get into this whole lip topper trend but so far I have amassed a few of them. I am wondering if any of these would be suitable for use around the eyes? I am sure some YT’er will try it and let us know.

I’m seeing lip products like this in absurd colors, thinking they look cool in theory and on Instagram but who wears this stuff in day to day life? I have yet to come across anyone sporting bright cobalt blue lips or dazzling emerald green or black. But then, I am quite boring so maybe that? No judgement, just wondering if there truly is a market for this stuff. (And of course it’s worth noting that Christine makes literally any lippie look positively killer!)
