Generously coat lashes, wrap them in the material like you would a luxurious black sheat. Shape lashes one by one with an ultra thin accessory for a singular definition. It took two years of intensive research to finally create this exceptional item: the first three dimensional telescopic brush.

Yeah I feel the same too.. & they were giving heck to Rimmel for false claims but I’m surprised (or rather not surprised) that they haven’t been as strict with Dior or Givenchy etc

Not sure about the telescopic brush, but decades ago, when I first used mascara, I used a brand that sold an applicator that was a thin rod that had grooves much like this one. The rod was much thinner, made of metal, and worked like a dream. Think it was Helena Rubenstein which, at the time, was a premier department store line.
I far prefer that type of wand to a brush but have never found a comparable one. I’m looking for a price in the post, but can’t see one. It would be worth a try for me, anyway. I recall one shade I used was green! Stunning effect for long, straight lashes that need lift & curl.
Debra, the mascara you’ve described is exactly like one I use currently! It’s by Bare Escentuals and it’s call The Magic Wand Brushless Mascara. It works like a charm and it’s only $15.00 for a tube from their website or QVC. Personally I use it as my first layer, then curl my lashes. My lashes actually hold a curl, don’t crunch up and then I use whatever other mascara I’m going to use. Hope that helps you in your quest to find another brushless mascara at a reasonable price!
I’m a huge mascara fan in general and I always want to try new formulas, but this one looks like I’d need a license to operate it… I feel intimidated.
I’m very interested. Still, don’t all mascara wands exist in the third dimension? And I wonder what exactly “released by activating the base of the cap” means. Phenomonally interesting!
It’s nice to see innovations, but I would love it even more if you do a personal review on the mascara!

I’m so intrigued by this, because I love Givenchy products (Phenomen’Eyes is such an amazing mascara), but it’s definitely something I’d have to see in person before committing to. I am loving the green shade!

I wonder what’s the purpose of the pointy end? Is it to separate the clumpy lashes or to give an aerodynamic look? Either way is giving me some doubts about the formula and the wand.
I don’t even understand how this one is going to work. It’s a weapon more than a mascara. I see myself stubbing my eyes with it instead of coating the lashes.
this is exciting – a totally DIFFERENT-looking product. however lets be real and acknowledge the gorgeous liv is wearing lash inserts or extensions… and there is only so much that ANY mascara can do 🙁

This is interesting. I think it will fail miserably on my lashes, though. I have very thin, sparse lashes and I think it would make my lashes a clumpy mess. I like Givenchy and love saying the name even more. It’s so French haha. I think I’m going to have leave this one. It will probably be very expensive.

Firstly I think Liv Tyler looks dreadful in the first picture, so photoshop’d I almost didn’t recognise her!
Secondly, I thought in the last photo he was injecting her eyelid or something =S but actually it appears like a pointed wand to separate lashes. I’ve been using a push pin for the past 8 or so years to separate my eyelashes and would never go back. But I did stab my eye pretty badly once and I don’t recommend it to other people. I wonder what kind of safety Givenchy have got in this..

It does look a bit complicated. I won’t be investing as it’s too pricy a line for me and no where local to shop and try it first. If it were fablous I would pay the $ as I do have a few Givenchy items. Wondering if Liv Tyler is the first photo model in this spread? If so, did not know she was the ‘face’ for Givenchy now. She photos so beautifully and seems so down to earth for a model. Like to see her do more movies.
