Marc Jacobs Beauty Matte Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner for Spring 2017

Experience the intense color payoff, amazing glide, and 12-hour wear of Marc Jacobs Beauty’s original award-winning Highliner Gel Eye Crayon eyeliner—now re-envisioned in a bold, matte finish. Each of the hues are glitter-free and intensified by super-rich pigment. They’re formulated to glide on smoothly for precise application, and they give you 15 seconds of play time before setting in place for wear that lasts all day, making it ideal for pulling off versatile eye looks. Line to define your eyes, smudge it before it sets to impart an instant, smoky eye, layer as an eye shadow base, or draw on artistic graphic liner looks. Its waterproof gel formula makes it well-suited for lining the inner rim. It’s designed with a clever sharpener, hidden in the base of the liner to allow for a precise point.

Noticed matte finish, different formula. Will have to give these a swatch. Always loved the MJ colors, but the formula began to break up instantly. Two blinks and half gone from the waterline. If these work, I’m in trouble. Super colors, as always, MJ.

These look amazing! I only ever had two MJ eyeliners, and I ended up getting rid of them because they had that drying issue. I’ve been meaning to go back and try them again, but for the price, I wasn’t as inspired by the remaining choices (and now have dupes of the ones I threw away).

*Mattes* are a different story!!! And a wine red?!? Sorry, but I need to put that in all caps: WINE RED?!? :-0

Also interested in the Powder Blue and Medium Brown. They’re MJ liners — they have to be decent, right?

These are hands down my favorite eyeliner of all time. I’m soooo excited about these matte shades! I don’t care for shimmery liner. I’m hoping beyond hope they release a mini set with a bunch of shades so i can try them all

Surely I’ll try the blue ones. Love his gel highliner in blacquer. It is expensive, bur the only thing that stays in my low waterline/lash lines without running or giving me raccoon eyes (hooded eyes, watery sensitive eyes, oily skin)

Fine looks interesting. I’m currently using Brown Out and I love it. I use it as a regular eyeliner and don’t put it in the water line though!

Fine Wine, Pink of Me and Mist Me are maybe’s for me. Depends on whether the drying-out issue is fixed. Recently had to toss a 1/2 done Sunset, bummer. On the other hand, the Jazzberry liner I have still works fine. I look forward to swatching and reviews.
