Who Me
Coloured Raine Who Me Eyeshadow ($6.99 for 0.064 oz.) is a deep coppery bronze with warm, red undertones and a frosted sheen. The consistency was soft, dense without being firm or stiff in the pan, and very blendable on the lid. It had rich, opaque color coverage that applied well without primer and lasted for eight and a half hours before creasing.

Formula Overview
$6.99/0.064 oz. - $109.22 Per Ounce
2022 Formula: The formula is supposed to be "highly pigmented" and "blendable" with a "butterly smooth" feel. The majority of the matte eyeshadows were quite pigmented, while some of the shimmers were overly emollient, which resulted in sheerer and/or uneven coverage.
The matte eyeshadows have a bit of dryness to them, though they were pigmented and fairly blendable, but they tended to apply best over an eyeshadow primer, which ensured a better base for them to adhere to. The shimmer eyeshadows were best applied with fingertips or a flat, firm (and sometimes dampened) brush and pressed/patted into place, then lightly blended.
I did not love the two finishes paired together as the matte finish was thinner and more powdery compared to the thicker, denser shimmers, so the shimmers often "erased" the matte eyeshadows when blended out.
The formula was different than the brand's original single pan formula that they originally debuted with, and I preferred their original formula overall, though the new one is decent, just not as foolproof to work with.
Original formula review: The formula is supposed to be "highly pigmented, long-lasting, and blendable" and come in a variety of finishes. Most their eyeshadows are semi-opaque to opaque with a smooth, blendable textures that are easy to use and apply well to bare skin. The shimmers are slightly dense and creamier to the touch compared to the mattes, which aren't thin but don't have the same amount of slip. They tend to wear between eight and nine hours on me.

Downtown
Coloured Raine Downtown Eyeshadow ($6.99 for 0.064 oz.) is a deep copper with warm, red undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. It had intense color coverage with a thicker, creamier texture (but it was still a powder eyeshadow) that applied with the same richness on the lid (without primer) as it appeared in the pan. I noticed that when I used it on the inner lid, it could emphasize the texture of my lids slightly due to the thicker texture and metallic finish. On me, the eyeshadow wore well for nine hours before creasing slightly.

Golden Olive
Coloured Raine Golden Olive Eyeshadow ($6.99 for 0.064 oz.) is a medium-dark golden brown with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. The pigmentation was opaque, while the texture was soft, smooth, and blendable–it was cream-like but not too dense or firm in the pan, so it was easy to work with on the eyes. It lasted for just over eight and a half hours on me.

Coloured Raine Secrets Eyeshadow ($6.99 for 0.064 oz.) is a deep bronze with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. The consistency was smooth, creamy but still a powder product. Intergalactic
Coloured Raine Intergalactic Eyeshadow ($6.99 for 0.064 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark reddened brown with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It applied a lot lighter than it appeared in the pan, and it had a much stronger warm, red undertone. The texture was soft, less dense and cream-like compared to the majority of their shimmer eyeshadows; it felt more like a traditional powder eyeshadow. It had good pigmentation, but it sheered out a bit when applied the lid. I also felt like it was hard to diffuse the edges without getting some patchiness. The eyeshadow lasted for eight hours on me.

Woah! These are all really nice and rated well. Coloured Raine is giving some really good competition to MUG, MAC, etc.
They are a great option for singles!
Oh wow!!! These are neutrals but with a kick! Not the same ol’ boring shades of brown. Love the eye look you did with Golden Olive. And Secrets is so rich looking. I gaze into a crystal ball and see a Coloured Rain order for 2017 🙂
Secrets has a great undertone – I think the undertone + finish makes it a little more unique!
Wow! Some of these look great!
They are!
These all have great pigmentation!
They do!
Beautiful eye look, Christine. I just purchased the Queen of Hearts palette and several of the individual pans. I am waiting for them to arrive. I am glad I didn’t pick up a bunch of the mattes as those look a little problematical. The frosts are all lovely, though. I wanted to purchase before my low buy for 2017 kicked in, LOL.
Can’t wait for you to get your order! 🙂
Intergalactic was a fun shade, too bad it applied so much lighter and warmer. Still pretty though. I was hoping for a MAC Club situation!
I wish it was more intense/true-to-pan!
More great quality, highly pigmented eyeshadows from this brand! I am really thrilled at how lovely these have been for the most part, and am going to give them a try.
They’ve been pretty good and none have been that difficult to use!
What a consistently fabulous take on neutrals by this brand. They are all of really good quality and have a variety of finishes. My favourites are the Golden Olive and Secrets shades.
A stunning eye look Christine – just perfect.
Aww, thank you Genevieve!
Coloured Raine is doing quite well on the ratings front here! I have a few dupes, not surprisingly but it’s nice to see a brand do them well.
They are! Now I am curious to test their liquid lipstick sometime to see if it’s better than the average one!
I’m surprised secret performed that way! It’s the only colour that I can’t apply because of the consistensy, to you have any tips to make it work? what kind of brush did you use? Thank you!
I used a flat synthetic brush for most, though I used natural crease brushes for anything in the crease!
These have this expensive look! Fabulous pigmentation! Especially impressed by Moments, which seems to be a hard shade to make well. Fortunately we do not have this brand here, other whise I would be so tempted!
They were really easy to apply and blend out, too!
Woaahhhhhh <3
I’m glad Golden Olive got a good review, because it’s one of the colors I ordered from Coloured Raine this week — now it looks like I’m going to have to place a second order, because I’m liking the looks of Who Me and Secrets, too. And Downtown is gorgeous, although maybe not so gorgeous on me. Maybe I’ll try it anyway! So many great shadows from this brand 🙂
I think Golden Olive is REALLY versatile!! It blends out beautifully, too.
A brand to keep the eyes on, or on the eyes 🙂
Both the bright colourful ones and the neutrals look really good.
haha! 😉
These are very nice. I have a feeling I’m going to be ordering from this brand in the future.
I hope you can try them sometime!
