Swatches pretty well it seems. I decided against getting it today with the 20% off Ulta was giving though. I’m pretty confident I have dupes of all of the shades. In fact, I wear my dupes of the bottom 4 pretty often. I think it looks like a solid, fun palette though for anyone who doesn’t already have these shades. I am curious to see your review as to how they wear though.

? You do not need this, Stephanie. You have at least two dupes for Storm Cloud, at least one almost-dupe for Clover, and at least a billion for the lighter shades. You also have several bright pinky shades, several burnt orangy-type shades like Bunny Fufu (including those in the ABH Modern Renaissance palette you just bought!), and enough neutrals to last through the zombie apocalypse, which means you have at least a couple of shadows that are similar to Meow and Chocolate Donut. The fact that it has stickers is irrelevant. You will not spend $36 on stickers and dupes.

Stephanie Avatar

I don’t have anything I’d truly consider a dupe, but I have a few shades that are close enough for me, like UD Freak (from the Electric palette). It’s definitely cooler-toned, but it’s a bright green with just enough of a yellowish gold shift that I’d use it for basically anything I’d use Clover for.

Oh gosh – I am just drooling over Storm Cloud. There are too many other colours in here that I would never wear and don’t like but, oh, how I love Storm Cloud and hope there’s a permanent dupe for it that I can buy (or maybe already own). I like Meow too – for a purple, it looks pretty evenly and richly pigmented.

try Lounge from UD or Mac Blue Brown pigment , Inglot has dupes for all of these. ABH Violet Voss, UD , KVD these aren’t anything new.

Thanks, folks. I’ll do some swatching when I’m next at Sephora once this arrives there (if it’s going to). I want to get some more ABH shadows and it makes most sense to buy 4 at a time; the question is whether they’ll have similar shades in-store (not all the newly released singles are “in store” – some are “online only”; the same applies to MUFE and, again, it makes most sense to purchase 3 at a time. I don’t have UD Lounge but I have TF Label Whore from years ago and I think that’s also very similar.

Loved and missed label whore. It’s really too bad that S has the vast majority of MUFE online only, but they’d have to build a store annex. Plus, when have you been disappointed by online MUFEs, unless you could not gauge the color well from the pix and online swatches? My old lounge is predominantly red/brown, with less teal. Drag that one out; tend to overlook singles that haven’t been depotted into a Z. Think I have MUFE peacock…you need a spreadsheet to track all this stuff.

Karissa Avatar

Yes UD lounge and Label whore are similar as I own both. UD has more shift than label whore, but label whore has chunks of glitter and less shift. 🙂

Wow, these shadows look a lot better than past Too Faced palettes! I like Clover, will be looking at your dupe list for that one

Sam Avatar

Too Faced is fast becoming my favourite for palettes. Every single one I’ve purchased has become a favourite because they’re just so versatile and well thought out. I was so sure I didn’t need this one…but it swatches beautifully!

Lulle Avatar

The swatches actually look better than I expected! However I don’t wear bright fuchsia eyeshadow – I don’t know why it seems to be included in so many palette these days – so already knowing I won’t use 1 out of 6 shadows, I don’t think it’s worth it for me. And to be honest the whole “decorate your own palette with stickers” leaves me cold.

Lorrin Avatar

I feel like this palette is on the border between whimsical and immature… The stickers are quite cute. However, the shade selection is a bit all over the place and dupeable. My wallet is happy!

karissa Avatar

i don’t feel like theres anything in here that hasn’t been done before.. i also feel like tf copies alot from UD except UD usually does it better.

karissa Avatar

storm cloud looks like Lounge from UD, Clover is a redo of Lucky Charms from TF when they had duo shadows. The Fuschia is a KVD or UD or so many others , Meow is not unique either, the mattes are pretty but so similar to ABH or Violet Voss. nope i’m going to pass on this one.

Jade Avatar

I don’t have any Too Faced eyeshadows in my collection yet! I love the cute packaging. These colors look amazing swatched! I’m not sure if I’d wear them together, though.

When I saw your photo of the palette the other day, I ordered it online, it’s winging its way to me! Pleased with the swatches here, I don’t have dupes for the bright colours except maybe I❤TF, and they’re what attracted me to the palette. Love the looks of the greens in particular!

Nancy T Avatar

Me? I’m just going to sit back and wait on the review! Storm cloud definitely has a much stronger bluish- green shift compared to what will likely prove to be its dupes. Unicorn reminds me of a shade in the Chocolate Bar palette that I loved during the 4 days I used it. Meow just looks so dark for a purple! But it does remind me of a MUFE shade I own already. The names are hilarious!

Haven’t bought any too faced in a dog’s age. Going to drag out the liquif-eye palette, fun in the dark(?), and the tf loves Sephora box and channel them this w/e. Pretty sure shadows have been reformulated since those dinos. Always thought their romantic 9 pan was pretty decent, for a primarily pastelish palette. Could be in, if I don’t have a SL of dupes, or if any fill holes in stash. usually can talk myself out of tf pretty easily, and no way I’d get this without swatching. But this impresses me more than last summer’s niners.

Tamara Avatar

I’m on the fence about this one. Too Faced is my favorite brand, and I’m drawn to sooo much of their stuff. I have tons of colorful palletes that I never use, though. I need to avoid this and put my money into Tarte. I hope I just talked myself out of this pallete…

Fran Avatar

I want Clover. I really, really, *really* want Clover. The rest of the shades, except for Storm Cloud, I could do without — some would even be unflattering on me. But I really want Clover. Too Faced does this to me quite often — releases a palette that has one or two shades in it that I really want, while I feel really “meh” about the rest of them!

I imagine that most people who purchase this palette will have no idea what to do with Clover. If only they could all depot it and send it to me 😉

I saw this palette in a promo by Two Faced and liked it. Now that I’ve seen it switched, I love and must have it. Love the colors. You put me over the edge! In a good way, of course.
