Anastasia Warm Bronze, Fudge, Tara Lip Glosses
Anastasia Warm Bronze Lip Gloss ($16.00 for 0.16 fl. oz.) is a slightly muted, medium-dark reddish-copper with warm undertones and fine, lighter gold pearl. It rich, opaque color coverage that applied beautifully–smooth, even color that sat well on the lips. The formula was comfortable to wear, mostly non-tacky, and lasted for a solid five hours while hydrating my lips. Marc Jacobs Beauty Shooting Stars (316) (DC, $28.00) is lighter (90% similar). MAC Enchanter (LE, $20.00) is more shimmery, less pigmented (90% similar). MAC Black Tea (LE, $19.00) is darker (85% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Anastasia Fudge Lip Gloss ($16.00 for 0.16 fl. oz.) is a muted, reddish-brown with warm undertones and a cream finish. The pigmentation was fantastic–completely opaque–and covered beautifully. The consistency was light-to-medium in weight, mostly non-sticky, and comfortable as it wasn’t too thick or too thin. This shade wore nicely for just over five hours and was hydrating while I wore it. NARS No. 675 (LE, $26.00) is brighter, cooler (85% similar). Anastasia Sepia (-, $16.00) is lighter (80% similar). MAC Fab Tested (LE, $20.00) is lighter, cooler (85% similar). Anastasia Tara (-, $16.00) is lighter, warmer (80% similar). Maybelline Almond Aura (130) (LE, ) is lighter, warmer (80% similar). Anastasia Rum (P, $16.00) is darker, cooler (80% similar). MAC King Pin (LE, $20.00) is darker, cooler (80% similar). MAC Kiss Don't Tell (LE, $20.00) is lighter (80% similar). NARS More (P, $24.00) is lighter, warmer (80% similar). MAC Krazy Kahuna (LE, $21.00) is brighter, warmer (85% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Anastasia Tara Lip Gloss ($16.00 for 0.16 fl. oz.) is a muted, medium-dark copper-brown with warm undertones and a cream finish. It was intensely pigmented with smooth, even coverage that was easy to spread across the lips. The texture was comfortable to wear, but it seemed a little more slippery compared to other shades. It didn’t feather on me, but that isn’t something I experience frequently. This shade lasted for five hours on me and was moisturizing over time. MAC Kiss Don't Tell (LE, $20.00) is more muted (95% similar). NARS More (P, $24.00) is lighter, more muted, less glossy (90% similar). Anastasia Sepia (-, $16.00) is darker, more muted (90% similar). Anastasia Fudge (-, $16.00) is darker, cooler (80% similar). Maybelline Almond Aura (130) (LE, ) is lighter, brighter, warmer (85% similar). MAC Krazy Kahuna (LE, $21.00) is darker, brighter (85% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
FORMULA OVERVIEW | Anastasia Lip Gloss ($16.00 for 0.16 fl. oz.) is supposed to be “opaque” with “high-shine” that’s “non-drying.” It is one of the more pigmented lipglosses out there that has a smoother, more cushion-y consistency that typically spreads well across the lips. Some shades gather in lip lines, and some shades apply streaky; it seems more common with lighter shades and milkier colors. The formula is non-sticky initially and develops slight tackiness over time. My experience from wearing the formula is that they are often lightly to moderately hydrating and wear three to five hours. They have a vanilla scent that isn’t too overpowering nor does it linger once applied (I notice it mostly in the tube).

These are so pretty, have such an autumn feel to them ! Personally, I’m tired of the matte lip look, never was a big fan, give me some shiny juicy lips
I love a little shine, too!
Those are all really pretty! I’m glad they rated well. My favorite is Warm Bronze, although the other two have also caught my eye. Thankfully these are permanent so I can wait till fall to purchase one of them. They seem like such fall colors.
It’s nice when things are high quality but also permanent!
Warm Bronze is a stunner for warm toned folks!
It would be!
Warm Bronze! So pretty!
Glad you liked it!
I can’t decide between Sepia, Tara and Fudge! I don’t need all three though.
Definitely don’t need all three!
Oh my gosh! Warm Bronze is so beautiful, I need that! I’ll be getting that soon I think!
Hope you love it, Sabrina 😀
These are the only lip gloss shades that I have ever wanted from ABH. And of course you make them look even better!
Awww!
These are definitely in keeping with the brown lip trend, except in a lush gloss formula instead of a dry matte liquid lipstick. Thank goodness!!! Warm Bronze just went on my wishlist: LOVE.
Seems like Warm Bronze might be the fave!
I love Warm Bronze.
Yay!
Man these are all gorgeous and look amazing on you!!! I so wish that Anastasia made her glosses in the USA instead of China. Most of her products are US made but these are not. Also, they have parabens. And mineral oil. I have other products of hers that are free of those, so idk why they had to formulate these with them.
Aww, thank you Bonnie!
These colors are stellar! I’m wicked impressed with the opacity and flawless, smooth look.
They are pretty! 🙂
These are gorgeous and look at the ratings! Almost enough to rethink giving up glosses. Another touchdown for ABH. Excuse the football talk, but they are fine fall shades.
I think ABH glosses are really great (assuming one likes more opaque coverage)!
I love all three of these. The bronze with the slight metallic is my favorite but I also like the depth of all the colors. I just my have to….
I love shimmer in a gloss!
Oh wow, Tara looks gorgeous! These glosses are getting really good ratings, so I’m waiting to see how did the pink ones perform in order to get some. Slightly off topic: are you going to review the Ultra Glossy lips from Colourpop, Christine? The cream ones look like a cheaper version of the ABH ones, so I’m curious to see if they are any good because some of the shades are on my radar!
Ooooh, I’m so glad to see the good reviews for these! They are definitely my type of colors!
