According to the brand, it’s supposed to be a “long-wearing, buildable” highlighter that gives a “natural-looking” glow. It had semi-sheer to mostly opaque color coverage (once built up). The texture was just like the others in the line: smooth, soft, blendable, but there was that slight dryness to it if you put your finger against the surface–it just didn’t seem to translate in a negative way on the skin. It was easy to diffuse the color along the cheek bones, and the more shimmery nature didn’t emphasize my pores. Of all four shades, this one had the most metallic sheen applied, so if pore emphasis is a big concern, you might want to test-drive this prior to purchasing. The color was a bit of a chameleon on me; there is a rosier undertone that became more present the more it was blended out, which made it look like bronze/copper against my skin tone. I will be curious to hear how it works on other skin tones and undertones.

I look at this and keep thinking, mmmmmm, chocolate buttercream frosting…..yummmmy
Haha! 😉
THIS! Is the one I have been lusting after! Only so appropriate given the name! 😉 Fingers crossed it won’t sell out by Saturday!
I hope you can snag it, Elise!
How “natural” do you think this looks in real life?
Thinking of getting something like this for my mum, who was saying she wanted something that gave her a natural glow, and this colour looks like it would be perfect for her skintone.
I don’t think it’s super subtle. It is more middle of the road to me.
*swoon* Just beautiful!
It is!
oooooooo this one is so pretty! way to dark for a super fair person like me, but it looks great on you. Plus, LOVE your purple eyeshadow here!
Thank you, Allison!
This is such a beautiful color now that I see it up close! I thought it’ll look darker applied but it doesn’t, which is great!
It is lovely!
These are so pretty to look at! I’m really need no highlighters. but, you know these are on the perpetual wish list now. 🙂
Luckily, they are permanent 😀
Too dark for me.. Even as a bronzer. I am afraid i will have no use for this shade
Money saved!
This looks like it’ll be amazing on deeper skin tones!
I bet it would be!
I. Love. It!
And I definitely see what you mean by it having a rosy undertone! I like that, plus how INCREDIBLY glowy this looks. I do already have dupes, though? CP Poolside with some Butterfly Beach has a very similar effect, sans rosiness. This will be tough for me to pass up, I tell ya!
It’s a lovely one! I like the tone of it a lot.
It looks really nice on your face!
Thanks, Erin!
Just gorgeous on you Christine, but probably a bit too dark for me.
Aw, thank you Genevieve!
Oh man, this was not on my radar at all, but this is beautiful! I already have MAC gold deposit, but this is going to be really hard to pass up (esp with 15% off at Sephora). I’ll have to try it in person and hope it looks terrible on me (which I highly doubt). My bank account is going to be mad ? (As will my husband…..if he finds out. HA!)
