Editor's Review

Anastasia Chocolate (Titanium) Eyeshadow ($12.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a rich, dark brown with warm, reddish undertones and a pearly sheen. It had a really dense, almost cream-like consistency that applied beautifully on the skin with rich, opaque, and even coverage. The color lasted for eight hours on me. Bobbi Brown Driftwood (LE, $22.00) is less shimmery (95% similar). Smashbox Stare (PiP, ) is less shimmery, lighter (90% similar). MAC Beautifully Charred (LE, $17.00) is less shimmery, cooler (90% similar). Urban Decay Ember (PiP, $19.00) is cooler (90% similar). Viseart Bijoux Royal #6 (LE, ) is cooler (90% similar). LORAC Dark Sienna (LE, $19.00) is cooler (90% similar). L'Oreal Bottomless Java (P, $7.99) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). Chanel Rêve d'Orient #1 (LE, ) is warmer (90% similar). I was finally able to purchase this to add to my collection (my local Sephora didn't stock it for a while and then they were always out of it). What a gorgeous rich brown with lovely pearly finish, similar to Inglot's Pearl finish. I already have Truffle Glitter which I thought might be very close in colour to this but they are quite different (Truffle Glitter seems to lean more cool and almost greenish grey compared to the warmer brown of Chocolate). This is so pigmented and looks gorgeous but it blends so nicely that you don't have to worry about harsh edges or a harsh look overall.
