Charlotte Tilbury Silver Leopard + Black Magic Nocturnal Cat Eyes to Hypnotise ($39.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a duo that features a powder eyeshadow and a miniature-sized pencil eyeliner. This is a very, very dark, smoky set of shades!

Silver Leopard is described as a “glittering gunmetal grey.” It’s a blackened charcoal with cool undertones and fine shimmer and micro-glitter. It had good pigmentation with a soft, smooth consistency that applied well dry and blended without becoming patchy or sheering out a lot. It wore well for eight hours before starting to fade. Chanel Tisse Paris #4 (PiP, ) is less shimmery (95% similar). MAC Jet Couture (P, $21.00) is darker (90% similar). Urban Decay Granite (PiP, $20.00) is more shimmery (90% similar). Marc Jacobs Beauty Blacklight (306) (LE, $32.00) is warmer (90% similar). KVD Beauty Black No. 1 (DC, $21.00) is lighter (90% similar). Stila Black Diamond (PiP, ) is less shimmery (90% similar). Stila Black Pearl (LE, $18.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). Stila Vivid Labradorite (P, $24.00) is more shimmery, cooler (90% similar). Viseart Diane (PiP, ) is less shimmery (90% similar). MAC Say It Isn't So (P, $18.00) is lighter, brighter (85% similar). Sydney Grace Black Ice (P, $6.25) is more shimmery, darker (85% similar). Buxom Cool Caviar (P, $12.00) is lighter (85% similar). Giorgio Armani #21 (DC, $33.00) is less shimmery, lighter (85% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.

Black Magic is described as an “intense petrol.” It’s a deep black with cool undertones and navy blue and lighter blue sparkle and shimmer. It had semi-opaque coverage in one stroke, and it was buildable to opaque coverage with two layers. It lasted for eight hours with minor sparkle traveling past the liner area. The consistency could have been slightly creamier. Sephora Galaxy Girl (25) (DC, $10.00) is darker (95% similar). Fenty Beauty Alien Bae (LE, $20.00) is more shimmery, brighter (90% similar). Fenty Beauty Black Card (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, warmer (90% similar). MAC Night Trail (P, $20.00) is cooler (90% similar). NARS Night Flight (P, $24.00) is cooler (90% similar). Urban Decay Black Market (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (90% similar). MAC Metalhead (P, $17.00) is lighter (85% similar). Smashbox Black Rose (LE, $24.00) is warmer (85% similar). Marc Jacobs Beauty Midnight in Paris (P, $26.00) is lighter (85% similar). MAC Wet Road (P, $25.00) is less shimmery, darker (85% similar). Urban Decay Dragon Smoke (LE, $22.00) is less shimmery, brighter, warmer (85% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.

Hi Christine, did the glitter in either the pencil or the eye shadow irritate your eyes? I love CT;s cream eye shadows but am hesitant about this line. Appreciate the reviews.

I wonder how Silver Leopard compares with Tom Ford Titanium Smoke n. 4 (the black glittery shade). I would purchase Tom Ford quad only for that black glittery shade, but if Silver Leopard is very close, I can save some money…

Which one would you recommend? I know you tried the Titanium Smoke and you didn’t like it. Can I achieve a similar look with Silver Leeopard + a black matte eyeshadow? thanks!

Thanks! I think I will look for TF Black Oyster (is still available on TF website) or Chanel Mirifique. Both of them are more dramatic than Silver Leopard.

Wow, the shadow is really pretty, but I have enough dupes in my stash. I do notice that Silver Leopard rates much higher than many of the other dupes listed (A- vs. C’s). I like the eyeliner with the blue glitter, but will probably get the Sephora dupe instead. Eagerly awaiting the review for On the Prowl. I think the Huntress is more versatile for me, but On the Prowl looks more unique

This brand always has such pretty things, but I never know if it’s worth it to me! Lol These shadow/liner duos included. If my friends and family bought me makeup for Christmas, I’d ask for these. Maybe with gift money after the holiday??

I know Nancy! I feel like they got thrown in to offset the stickershock! Lol. They’re pretty gorgeous shadows. I feel like the liners wouldn’t get used by me because I have a boatload of liners and I dont wear it daily. So, thats paying close to $40 for a single! That stinks because I want at least two for a look. But,im sure I’ll cave on one or two! -At least their permanent.

Thank you for reviewing these Christine! I keep looking the swatches over and over, and although I do like the color of the liner I don’t think these would be a favorite for me like I thought they would be. Maybe I’ll like On The Prowl better.
