Kat Von D Noble & Bow 'n' Arrow Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Kat Von D Noble Everlasting Liquid Lipstick
Kat Von D Noble Everlasting Liquid Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.22 fl. oz.) is described as a “petal pink nude.” It’s a brightened, light-medium peach with a hint of pink and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque coverage, but it was one of the harder-to-apply shades in the range. It was sheerer and thinner, so it was prone to streaking, but the formula would allow for you to apply a second coat to get better coverage out of it (and probably minimize some of the streaking). The color lasted for almost six hours, but it had more noticeably faded from the center after four hours for me, so it doesn’t fade as evenly as you’d like (especially with a lighter/brighter shade such as this one). It was slightly drying after four hours of wear. Burberry Pink Apricot (301) (P, $30.00) is darker, glossier. Melt Cosmetics Summer! (P, $19.00) is lighter, brighter, glossier. MAC Riot House (LE, $16.00) is lighter, brighter. Anastasia Pure Hollywood (P, $20.00) is cooler. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lament (P, $18.00) is lighter, brighter, glossier. Maybelline Daringly Nude (P, $7.99) is darker, more muted, less glossy. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.
Kat Von D Bow ‘n’ Arrow Everlasting Liquid Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.22 fl. oz.) is described as a “fawn nude.” It’s a muted, medium-dark beige-brown with neutral-to-warm undertones and an ultra matte finish. It had mostly opaque color payoff that applied evenly and smoothly. It was soft when dried, and it didn’t “crack” or look split down the lip lines after it dried down. The drying time was a little faster than many other shades I’ve tried from the formula. The color lasted for six and a half hours on me with little breakdown but was slightly drying after the fifth hour of wear. MAC Velvet Teddy (P, $16.00) is warmer, glossier. Burberry Antique Pink (303) (P, $30.00) is cooler, glossier. MAC Nude (LE, $16.00) is darker, glossier. MAC Whirl (P, $16.00) is darker, warmer. MAC Stone (P, $16.00) is darker, cooler. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.
FORMULA SUMMARY | Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.22 fl. oz.) is supposed to be a “long-wear, full coverage liquid lipstick with a smooth, matte finish.” Of the liquid lipsticks on the market that go and have a full dry-down, Kat Von D’s formula remains my favorite, as it is the easiest to apply with the kindest learning curve and lasts awhile. Some shades are more drying than others, but typically they don’t get drying until after five to six hours of wear. They often wear anywhere from six to ten hours, depending on what you’ve had to eat or drink during the day. This formula is thin but not watery, has a longer dry down than most liquid lipsticks (but I noticed some of the newer shades dried to a mostly dry finish faster), and layers better than most (you can touch-up or add a second layer for more coverage). It takes about a minute for it to mostly set, but it will remain a little tacky in places for up to three minutes so you’ll want to avoid pressing your lips together if it doesn’t seem totally dry initially. There isn’t a noticeable scent or taste. If you don’t mind the trade-off between very long, near-pristine wear and being drying, it’s worth checking out. As a bonus, these also come with one of the most generous amounts of products within the realm of liquid lipsticks!

Bow ‘n Arrow looks good, it’s a great shade for you. I don’t think I can pull off this ultra matte look though.
Thank you!
Both colors look amazing on you. I have Noble bought it last night I think it looks similar to Anastasia Milkshake? What say you?
Hmm, I don’t think I bought that one. The only lighter Anastasia shade I recall buying was Pure Hollywood.
Bow’n’Arrow is so pretty!
It is!
I can’t pull off these colors (will make me look dead) but looking forward to reviews of the other colors
Hopefully one of the other ones will work for ya, Katherine!
Bow & Arrow looks great on you; perfect nude lip!
Aw, thank you!
I love Bow & Arrow on you!
Question: When you test lipsticks that are extra long wearing, do you avoid eating / eat extra-carefully / just eat normally? I’m guessing that when you test something that you expect to wear <4 hours, you just don't eat a full meal – but maybe I'm wrong. I find that most longwearing lipsticks last beautifully until I start eating, but are a mess (or at least significantly faded) after eating. So, I'm just curious as to how you handle that when testing.
Hi Emi,
Anything that lasts beyond 4-6 hours will probably go through a meal. Something like a liquid lipstick, I wear through meals for sure. I don’t NOT eat, because that would be unhealthy in the long run (so unfortunately, it’s not something I can do for testing), but for more typical products, then I apply early in the AM and then I have lunch after I’m done testing, same with after lunch and before dinner, and then after dinner. I’m usually up 6-7, so I do my first test then, and I have a 4-5 hour gap between lunch and dinner, then another 4-6 hour gap after dinner.
Thanks for the response! That makes sense š
Bow n Arrow looks like a fantastic nude but Noble looks unforgiving, eep!
Noble is definitely harder to work with!
hi Christine!!I How close would you think Bow and Arrow to Colourpop Parker? as that one (parker) is my mlbb shade and I’m looking for a long wearing lipstick. Thanks! š
I look forward to your lipstick review/swatches in particular with the Kat von D! I’m eyeing a few shades as I trust that you said you favor this brand of liquid lipstick out of all the ones you tried. š

both colors suit you amazingly! bow and arrow seems lovely… can’t wait for reviews of lolita and echo xx
Thanks, Marissa!
If you favorite liquid lipstick formula is the Kat Von D, you should really try the Sephora Lip Cream.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Not for me š
Aw!
Bow n Arrow looks like a gorgeous nud . It looks very pretty on you!
Thank you, Fancie!
I wonder how Bow ‘n Arrow compares to the old version?
Sorry, I only have this one!
No problem, that was more me “thinking” out loud. š
Nobel was the one I was interested in. Guess I won’t be getting any.
I’m so sorry to hear that!
I was wondering if noble was close to Colourpop Vice but with the swatch search is definitely lighter.

I still want one of the two shades though as light mattes are so hard to find!!
What I find amazing is that I want Bow ānā Arrow even more now, it’s not too brown and has enough roseiness to be wearable. Completely different than Colourpop Trap as well.

I was surprised there wasn’t more overlap, but that’s good I suppose, lol!
I’m wearing Bow n Arrow today! I love it so much. It’s been lasting better than the other shades I own (“bad batch” Lolita, Armageddon, and Ayesha). It lasts longer and fades less than the other three I have and it’s gorgeous! On myself, it kinda reminds me of Velvet Teddy but slightly browner and much more matte.
lol, “bad batch” Lolita — read that a little different the first time, haha.
Both colors are very pretty.
Agreed! Really dig Bow ‘n’ Arrow.
Me, too. It’s that rosy brown kind of nude shade I have trouble resisting.
Hi Christine! Do you know if/when these will be in Sephora stores? I’m sorry if you already said, I couldn’t find. Thanks!
I think they were in some stores before they launched online, but I don’t know if/when/which stores will have what amount of stock.
I found mine in an in-store JCPenney Sephora, the regular Sephora was sold out! They weren’t on display but the sales associate grabbed a bunch of the new shades from a drawer. Hope that helps!
I’m not especially keen on liquid lipsticks, but Bow&arrow is too beautiful to pass up!!! I wish there were more dupes! (Especially non-liquid lipstick ones!)
It is a gorgeous shade!
I have had my eye on Bow “n” Arrow. It looks great on you! I have some form the initially released shades. I love them on for about 3 hours and then they just get uncomfortable for me and I have been putting BITE’s Opal lipstick over them. I have been making myself wear them more to try to decide if I am going to invest in some of the new shades. I’m not sure yet. I just don’t reach for them that much.
Thank you, Nicole! If you don’t reach for the formula, I wouldn’t bother!
Yeah, you are probably right!
Bow n Arrow reminds me a bit of Milani’s Matte Naked.
Oh, nice! I am presuming that’s one of their LE liquid lipsticks.
One of the color statement mattes, actually. But there’s the same undertone in both of them.
I think I need the new version of Bow & Arrow. The one I have is very drying, and I’m loving the new formula! <3
Sounds like one to try!
I thought I’d add that Colourpop Beeper might be a dupe for Bow ānā Arrow. But from swatches I get the impression that it might be a touch darker.
Thank you, Ani_BEE!
