MAC Domestic Diva Lipglass ($17.50 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “frosty watery pink.” It’s a medium-dark, warm-toned pink with a lot of multi-colored, fine shimmer. It had semi-sheer to semi-opaque coverage that went on evenly and smoothly. This shade wore well for almost five hours on me and was neither hydrating nor drying. MAC Viva Glam Miley Cyrus (LE, $15.00) is sheerer, cooler-toned. MAC Social Season (LE, $20.00) is less pigmented. MAC Astral (LE, $20.00) is less shimmery. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

MAC Girl on Board Lipglass ($17.50 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “light creme nude.” It’s a very light, warm-toned beige with white pearly shimmer over a more cream-like finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that covered evenly but settled noticeably into lip lines. The gloss lasted for four and a half hours and was neither drying nor hydrating. MAC Softly Lit (LE, $20.00) is sheerer. NARS Spring Break (P, $26.00) is less shimmery, cooler-toned. MAC A Quiet Roar (LE, $15.00) is sheerer. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

MAC Hot/Cold Lipglass ($17.50 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “true red.” It’s a cool-toned, medium-dark pinky-red with a cream finish. It had mostly opaque color coverage (you can still see a hint of my lip freckle) that covered evenly and didn’t pull into lip lines. The gloss stayed on well for six hours, but I had very slight feathering along the upper lip line after four hours of wear, though it was comfortable and non-drying while worn. Urban Decay 69 (P, $22.00) is lighter. MAC Victoriana (LE, $15.00) is brighter. Guerlain Rouge Parade (920) (LE, $30.00) is redder, lighter. MAC Utterly Tart (LE, $15.00) is slightly darker. MAC Strawberry Malt (LE, $15.00) is a touch pinker. MAC Send Me Sailing (LE, $15.00) is redder. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

MAC Laundry List Lipglass ($17.50 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “vivid orange.” It’s a slightly muted, medium-dark orange with warm, yellow undertones and a cream finsh. It had almost full color coverage, but this one did settle in some lip lines, unlike Hot/Cold. This shade wore for six hours on me, and it didn’t feather or bleed. The formula wasn’t hydrating, but it wasn’t drying either. Urban Decay Punch Drunk (P, $22.00) is darker. NARS Wonder (P, $26.00) is sheerer. MAC Morange (LE, $15.00) is brighter. MAC Krazy Kahuna (LE, $15.00) is darker, more muted. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

Hey Christine how does Girl on Board compare to Clear water from the Alluring Aquatic collection?
I have dupes for all of these I am pretty sure depending on that comparison. Plus I have ben loving the UD gloss formula. So, I may pick idk maybe one or two…or maybe just pass and go with Urban Decay and see how MJB does with the sparky ones.

Hey Nicole!

Girl On Board has a lot more “color” to it – there is more pigment in the base, whereas Clear Water is more like a sheerer base with a lot of sparkle. The sparkle is more noticeable in Clear Water than in Girl on Board applied (the shimmer is also finer).

Thanks Christine. I don’t think I like it! Lol. I don’t tend to go for that washed out look. I liked the other 3. I have similar dupes for all of them. But ,if think I’ll try to get Domestic Diva and maybe Hot/Cold. I’ve accumulated a lot of orange leaning lippies.so trying to veer away from that. Thanks for clarifying that and saving me a gloss I don’t like!

The only one I’m going to consider getting is Hot/Cold, as I don’t ~think I have any dupes. I just got UD Punch Drunk and Surratt soigne, which I think are dupes for the other colors. Would you consider Surratt soigne close enough to Domestic Diva?

Domestic Diva and Laundry List are both stunning!!! Although Girl On Board is too pale and milky for me. Hot Cold is beautiful, but I already have and am in love with Nyx Intense Butter Gloss in Apple Crisp!

Loved reading and seeing the swatches of these! They look so gorgeous, I’ve never tried a Mac Lipglass before so I’m really interested to see how I would get a long with them. Especially from this collection! x

Hi Christine,

What is your opinion on MAC constantly releasing new collections? It seems like often times the products are of poor quality.

I do LOVE your lip freckle. I prefer sheerer lip colors….if I can see the freckle, I know that a lippy has the level of opacity that I like 🙂

Hot/Cold and Laundry List look beautiful on you. I also like Girl on Board to lighten/brighten my lipsticks. I used to carry C-thru or Sugar Rimmed Dazzleglass for that purpose.

I really don’t get the Wash & Dry collection at ALL – whoever thought a laundry-themed curation was a good idea might need early retirement – but it’s good to see a MAC collection FINALLY getting mostly A’s.
