Clinique Heather Pop Cheek Pop Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Heather Pop
Clinique Heather Pop Cheek Pop Blush ($25.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a muted, medium pink with subtle cool undertones and a soft, shimmer-sheen finish. There’s an almost plummy tone to it, but it is light enough that it seems more pink than plum.
It had mostly opaque coverage that was buildable to fully opaque with two layers, but it didn’t have quite as rich of pigment as many other shades from the range have had. It’s also surprisingly similar to two of the other new-for-spring shades, so it may be redundant if you already picked up either Rosy Pop or Pink Pop. The powder had a soft, smooth consistency that was easily applied and blended on the skin for a beautifully diffused, glowing cheek color. It wore well for eight hours before fading slightly.

Formula Overview
$21.00/0.12 oz. - $175.00 Per Ounce
The formula is described as “vibrant yet natural-looking cheek colour that looks virtually powderless.” The texture was smooth, soft, and dense, so it was never powdery in the pan or on the skin. The blush had good color payoff that was easily sheered out (or you could apply less, as the denser texture makes that easy to control).
It’s the kind of texture that almost blends itself as soon as you start applying and working it onto the skin. The finish became more luminous as I blended the powder onto the skin, but it was never shiny or overly shimmery, so it always looked smooth on my skin and did not emphasize pores or my skin’s texture. Most shades lasted between eight and nine hours on me.

I was expecting this to be more muted/plummy/mauvey but it looks so nice blended on your cheeks! I might pick up this shade, after all.
Happy it surprised you! 🙂
I love it on you! but if I had to pick one I’d g for Rosy pop (i’d most probably would!) 😀
It’s going to be hard to pick one from these pinky shades!
This was my other choice for the new shades. I like the subtlety.
Me too! 🙂 It’s really easy to pair with all sorts of eyes/lips.
Aw this might be the pink one I pick up. I liked Pink Pop and Rosy Pop but this is an in between color I can settle on. Semi opaque is great for me, I need a fool proof every day quality in a blush.
Sounds like it’s going to be perfect for you, Ginny! 🙂
All SO pretty (sigh). I will be getting some of these during the Sephora sale — a purple, a pink, and a berry. Just have to figure out which ones!
Yayy! Glad you will grab a few 🙂
So many cool-toned pink blushes this spring! I’m having a hard time picking just one! (I’m on a low-buy and trying to not make redundant purchases haha)
It’s going to be tough to pick just one!! 🙂 What are you considering so far?
This is very pretty, and would be great on fair skin. It’s almost a neutral blush. I like it a lot, though I thought with the name “heather,” it would have a mauve tone to it. It looks cooler in the pan.
I expected it to run cooler-toned, too!
Hmmm..now I have to decide which of the 3 to get! Do you have one you would choose of the 3?
I like Rosy Pop a lot 🙂
Great! thanks! I will go with that one first If i don’t get in to swatch them! probably would be best of them going into summer!
Ah the one I’ve been waiting for! I think it’s slightly pinker than the Armani I was looking to replace as I’ve hit pan on it and it’s hard to apply evenly now. I really love it though!
Glad you loved this one, Erin!
This may be my favorite.
Awesome!
Ooooh, that looks pretty. Like the perfect everyday shade for when you don’t want to have to think about whether your blush with clash with what else you’re wearing.
Great way to put it, Lisa!
I love this blush!
Woohoo!
I have read comments on sephora and I am confused. Is this a cream blush or powder?
It is a powder!
This is definitely my kind of colour, I am so impressed by its pigmentation
Yay!
I ordered Berry, Fig and Heather and kept this one! All gorgeous, but Heather was the perfect soft flush!
Happy to hear one worked for you!
For those of us on a limited buy willing to spend for this for the Sephora sale. Could you please give us the 2 other must-have’s in this collection other than Cola?
By the way, I was able to test the green eyeshadow that is coming out in the MAC IS BEAUTY.It is gorgeous Christine you should really get this, if you have the chance. The purple was the worst of the three.
They’re all really good, so it is going to come down to what you like, would wear, and what you already have. There are none that I don’t like, but in general, the line is more dupable than not by a good number of blushes, so I really think it comes down to personal preference.
Fact: Clinique’s Cheek Pops + TEMPTALIA’s reviews gave me a new weakness: blushes !!!!!!
Haha! 😉
Is it wrong if the only reason I’m gonna get this is because of its name?? if only the shade is just as lovely as the name! Lol
But it’s so pretty!
I love these blushes in the mid to lighter shades. The darker ones are just too dark for my complection. I love how they apply and blend. The only drawback is the daisy disappears. I just love that flower.
They’re so blendable!
Ooh! I’m loving all these muted Cheek Pop shades — this one is so pretty!!
The luminous finish <3
The only thing I can say against these, it is hard to chose!
So true!
This one is ALSO very pretty!
It is!
I love this, but I’m not sure if I’m just biased because it’s my name 🙂
Hehe!
