Becca Rose Gold Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured
Becca Rose Gold Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured ($38.00 for 0.19 oz.) is described as a “soft gold infused with rose tones.” It’s a light-medium, peachy brown with a hint of reddish copper tones, gold shimmer, and strong, warm undertones overall. It had a luminous sheen. Becca Blushed Copper (LE, $38.00) is darker, powder. Sephora + Pantone Universe Marsala (LE, $25.00) is slightly rosier. LORAC Unapologetic (LE) is warmer, powder. Guerlain Petrouchka #8 (LE) is powder, less shimmery. Becca Guava/Moonstone (P, $27.00) is lighter. Tom Ford Beauty Unabashed Bronzer (LE, $90.00) is lighter, powder. Charlotte Tilbury The Climax (P, $40.00) is rosier, powder. Becca Rose Gold (P, $38.00) is a powder. Illamasqua Supernatural (P, $24.00) is sheerer. MAC Margin (P, $21.00) is rosier, powder. At last, the final shade of the five new Poured shades (which means a comparison is coming soon–I promise!). Mine arrived in a bit of a state, after having been rerouted to the wrong location, and I’m wondering if its extra four days to go from southern California (where it went mistakenly) to northern California during a particularly hot weekend caused it to liquefy in transit. I’m not entirely sure, but my other four arrived pristine, while this one spent over a week in transit (the others went air). Other than not looking so hot, it feels and performs like the other four shades do. The texture is lightweight, not too emollient but has enough slip that it easily blends on the skin. It had fairly rich color payoff–mostly opaque–that added color to my complexion while also adding a noticeable shimmer and luminous sheen. This one seemed slightly more shimmery compared to some of the other shades. On medium-dark and deeper skin tones, I expect it’ll add some warmth but primarily a rosy sheen, whereas on lighter complexions, it can work as a highlighter and blush/bronzer in one. The finish can emphasize pores slightly if you apply it as more of a blush–it was more forgiving when it was applied semi-sheer. Rose Gold wore well for eight hours before fading on my skin.

I am having a really hard time deciding which shade to pick so your comparison review will be very helpful!
It probably was the heat and extra travel time that caused the product to move. It’s good it didn’t affect the performance though.
That is my guess, but it makes me a little nervous about buying them in summer now!
I’m a little undecided myself. They’re all so beautiful and perform so well. I don’t know where to start lol. Also, I’m so jealous it’s warm enough there to melt makeup! We had a warm day yesterday but it’s right back cold lol. I can’t wait for warm weather!
Very pretty.
It is!
To die for on you! Love this eye look, the whole thing. I am definitely going to order this one and the Topaz one and see which works for me as a bronzer. At least we know the formula holds up to the elements?
Thank you, Ginny!
Haha, very true 😉
Whoa, so sorry to hear this baby went on a bit of a Cali tour and melted a little! Glad to hear that didn’t change how well it works tho! I’m still thinking something like this would end up being too shiny on my normal/combo skin, but it looks great on you!
It’s very pretty! If you normally set with powder, it’ll reduce some of the shine without muting it entirely!
Yay! Finally it came! Is it weird that I’ve been stalking your website for your thoughts on this?! Thanks for the review Christine ☺ This looks stunning on you! Now I just have to decide between this and topaz.
LOL! Of course this had to get mis-routed on a Thursday (so it sat around all weekend).
It looks beautiful! This earthy type of blush/bronzer color is my favorite.
YAY! 🙂
Phew, good thing the fact that it melt didn’t affect the quality. Looks lovely on you.
Haha! Always a good test!
Hi Christine. How did you apply this? With your fingers or a brush? I think I still love Copper the best.
Hi Indya!
I used a stippling brush!
I got a Becca cream blush that was in a similar state. Purchased from Winners (Marshalls/TJ-Max on Canada)
I haven’t had any problems with storing it at home, even in the summer. I think it would be a transit issue. I’ve kept it in my makeup bag for a day or two, no problems there either.
Does your home get warm? My guess is more that it was exposed to some really extreme heat for too long while in transit 🙂
This is a lovely sun-kissed look. May I ask what brush you used to apply this? Also, I have been wondering what your favorite loose powder brush is? I remember you said you prefer to not use synthetic hair for loose powders, but I may be mistaken.
Hey Kira!
I used MAC’s 188 for this one!
Loose powder… if we’re talking setting powders, Make Up For Ever #128, which is actually synthetic, but perfection for pressing loose powder into the skin and covering a large area at the same time. I don’t use loose foundation often, but I use the #128 with but flesh-colored and translucent loose and pressed setting powders with great results.
Thank you Christine 🙂
Oh my goodness, such a gorgeous shade! Really stunning on YOU! Total in love! It seems that you walked on the beach. I’m gonna get it!
Thank you so much 😀 Hope you love yours!!
I’m hooked on Becca but this product just doesn’t do it for me in the Poured cream formula.
Oh, bummer! Do you prefer the Liquid/Pressed?
I love both liquid and powder 🙂
It’s ashamed that happened to it! Good to know it still performs just as well though. I think this has become my favorite and I’ve only worn it as highlight. I’ve not worn Topaz yet . It probably will work better as a blush for me too until I get some color. Thanks for the idea! Looks gorgeously you!
My pleasure, Nicole! So glad you’re enjoying it so far.
Glad it got a good review, even though it’s half-melted, but too dark and warm for me. But every time I look at it, I start craving chocolate !
Poor, poor blush!
*jaw drops* this is BEAUTIFUL! Totally something I would wear in summer, even as fair as I am!
It’s so blendable, it’ll totally work on fair skin!
Very pretty. Sorry it melted, but it speaks to the quality that the highlighter survived it.
True 🙂
Very pretty but too pigmented for me to use other then for a blush or eye gloss!
Aww!
The color looks promising but one never knows how it would look on darker complexions… maybe you can hire a part time brown skinned intern so we can see how the look on us:)
There are lots of bloggers of all different skin tones as well 🙂
I think it would work well on medium toned complexions rather than fairer complexions as it would end up looking a bit too orangey. It looks lovely on you Christine.
Thank you! 🙂
