MAC Tenor Voice Lipglass ($16.50 for 0.17 fl. oz.) is described as a “true classic red.” It’s a brightened, medium red with fairly neutral undertones. On me, it pulls almost warm-toned at times, but other times, it looks neutral or slightly pink-ish. It was richly pigmented and applied well for the most part. The color didn’t feather over the five hours it wore for. Revlon HD Fire Opal (560) (P, $8.99) is warmer, MAC Anthurium (LE, $19.50) is similar. Laura Mercier Poppy (P, $25.00) is warmer. Milani Red My Lips (12) (P, $5.49) is slightly warmer. Maybelline Signature Scarlet (020) (P, $8.99) is similar. Revlon Fire (P, $7.49) is slightly warmer. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

MAC Victoriana Lipglass ($16.50 for 0.17 fl. oz.) is described as a “mid-tone pink red.” It’s a muted, medium-dark rosy red with cool undertones and a creamy, glossy finish. It had mostly opaque color coverage, and the gloss went on with even color that didn’t pull into lip lines. It wore well for five hours and didn’t feather or bleed on me. MAC Ruby Woo (LE, $15.00) is brighter, redder. NARS Burning Love (LE, $26.00) is similar. Guerlain Rouge Parade (920) (LE, $30.00) is slightly darker. MAC Strawberry Malt (LE, $15.00) is more muted, sheerer. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Tenor Voice is so pretty. I just have a hard time with red glosses. I have Fire Opal from Revlon, which is a beautiful color but after about an hour, it moves around and looks really funny on my lips, like it’s feathering a lot but nothing ever feathers on me… I am wondering if it’s the formula or red glosses in general. But pretty color!

Wow Christine, these bright reds look gorgeous against your flawless, simple makeup and skin. Are you going to be reviewing that MJ Hi Filter? Looks good!
