Fairfax is a deep brown with subtle, warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had good pigmentation, though it was not fully opaque, but the coverage was buildable. The consistency was smooth, sponge-like without being too firm or too dense, and applied evenly to the lid. The more I blended it out, the warmer the color appeared. It lasted for ten hours without fading or creasing on me.
