Make Up For Ever ME910 Electric Magenta Artist Shadow (Blush) Review, Photos, Swatches
Make Up For Ever ME910 Electric Magenta Artist Shadow (Blush)
Make Up For Ever ME910 Electric Magenta Artist Shadow (Blush) ($21.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a bright, medium fuchsia pink with cool, blue undertones and a violet sheen. Make Up For Ever ME912 Orchid (P, $21.00) is darker, more muted. Surratt Beauty Se Pomponner (P, $32.00) is less shimmery. Sephora + Pantone Universe Radiant Orchid (LE) is more muted, purpler. Fyrinnae Superstar (P, $6.80) is similar. MAC Florida (LE, $21.00) is less shimmery, cream product. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
It’s incredibly rich in color payoff–there’s no shortage of pigmentation in this shade–but the lightly creamy, dense, and buttery consistency of the gel-powder formula makes it a lot easier to use. It really does feel like it has some of the blendability found in creams but with the more forgiving evenness of powders. The finish has a noticeable sheen that doesn’t look frosted on the skin and gives off a gleaming glow that doesn’t emphasize pores. This shade wore well for eight and a half hours before fading. I had light staining on my arm from swatching this that was gone after a few hours, but I didn’t notice any staining on cheeks after wearing it.

I waaaaaaaant.
The question is how many hot pinks are you going to get? Or will you narrow it down to just one?
Gorgeous color ! Not easy to wear on warm complexion but really lovely !
Xoxo
Michelle
The finish is great!
The shade looks super vibrant in the container but glowy on your cheeks! I love such pinks.
It is more wearable than it looks for sure!
Beautiful color! I want this one too!
Would be gorgeous on your skin tone, Fancie!
Very pretty but blue based. 😉 I like warmer tones on me.
Gotcha 🙂
Oh it looks so radiant on your skin! I’m pleasantly surprised.
The finish is fab!
Another swoon-worthy hot pink.
MUFE definitely can do a bold pink well!
Very pretty but I already have the Sephora Patone Universe Radiant Orchid LE blush so I’m good…lol…but I do love Makeup Forever regardless 🙂 They make my favorite foundation 🙂
Phew!
I really like how these bright blush/shadows from MUFE go on so smoothly and look so glowy. It’s like you’re beautifully movie-radioactive. To the Blushmobile, MUFE-Girl! 😀
Sorry.
LOL! Now, what does a blushmobile look like…
If the swatch is anything to go by, Superstar is giving everyone a run for the money.
It’s a fun pop of pink!
It is beautiful on you — stunning actually.
Aw, thanks, Sue!
This looks very pretty and luminescent on you!
Thanks, Karen!
Very nice. I like it but I’m worried the sheen might be too much for how pale I am.
It is possible, though with a light hand, I think it would be workable 🙂
I received the Neon Pink in the mail yesterday and it’s amazing! It looks like I’m going to be investing in some Electric Magenta soon, too! My daughter fell in love with the Neon Pink when I used it on her last night so I KNOW she’s going to, eventually, talk me into giving it to her.
It seems like this shade blends out easier than the Neon Pink. Is that true?
Woohoo! So glad you’re loving Neon Pink, Cat. 🙂
Yes, just a bit easier to blend 🙂
What a colour!! Wish I could pull it off, but I’ll leave it to those who can rock this no problem!
Hope to see people out there rockin’ this!
I don’t care for this as a blush, but it’d make a gorgeous eyeshadow!
I just wish these would be considered eye safe in the U.S.!
OOOHH THAT SHEEN!!!
It’s about time for me to stop using UD Fishnet as a violet cheek-highlighter!
Would be a great option instead 😉
Very pretty! By now I daren’t even think of going to Sephora, I think I’d collect them all 🙂
LOL!
It was hard not to come away with them all at the boutique.
I would wear this as an eyeshadow but no way could I do this as a blush! :3
It would be a pretty shade for eyeshadow – grr! wish it was eye safe here in the states!
This is a pretty color! Not sure how the finish would look my face though (I have oily skin with large open pores).
