5 Warm-Toned Pinks for Spring

If cool pinks weren’t your thing, how about the other end of the spectrum–warm pinks–as shades to consider this spring? Here are a few of my picks for the season! I’d love to hear yours 🙂

  1. Revlon Elusive — a medium, warm-toned pink with a satin-matte finish
  2. Chanel Revelation (63) — a light-medium pink with warm undertones
  3. Zoya Brigitte — a muted, medium pink with warm undertones
  4. Hourglass Radiant Magenta — luminous, medium, warm-toned pink
  5. Givenchy Rose Taffetas (201) — creamy, medium pink with warm undertones

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I tend to avoid warmer tones for my cheeks in particular, and I think the only products I have that comes close to “warmer toned pinks” are MAC’s Impassioned lipstick and Early Morning Mineralized blush (LE) and Clarins Grenadine Gloss Prodige.

I was waiting for this post. Warm-toned pinks suit me better, and I’m excited to read the comments/suggestions of my fellow readers. 🙂

Some of my favorites are:
Burberry Lip Cover in Primrose Hill Pink
Guerlain Rouge G in Gracy
Tom Ford Cheek Color in Frantic Pink
Tom Ford Lip Color Sheer in Paradiso
Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte in Caress Pink

Again, I tend to stick to neutral-toned pinks, but 2 products I tend to reach for fairly often are Maybelline Born With It lipstick, and NARS Douceur blush. I just bought NARS Multiple in Maldives, and that reads a bit warm & pink on me, and I see it getting a lot of use when the temperatures rise, and I have to reapply sunscreen more often!

When I was choosing which Chanel blush I would go for, it was between Revelation and Affinite 🙂 I went for Affinite, but Revelation is still sitting happily on my wishlist!

As for Elusive – sometime soon, you’re going to hear a muted ‘BOOM” from the southern hemisphere. Scientists will be puzzled, but it will eventually be established that a Rogue in Middle Earth had exploded from impatience while waiting for the new Revlon Balms to finally turn up. 😀
