From blushes to lipsticks, I have my personal five favorites for fall lip color! This idea is courtesy of readers Maribel, Sara, Shahnaz, Camille, and Rebecca, who all wanted to see some great shades for autumn. As always, I look forward to hearing about your top five!

My favorites are: Burberry Lip Cover Soft Satin Lipstick in Bright Plum, Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer in Savage Grace and Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour in Envoutante, Guerlain Rouge G in Gigolo, MAC Pro Longwear Lipcreme in Endless Drama. 🙂

I’ll second gigolo. 1. Cos of the satiny finish and 2. It goes on evenly unlike rebel which is darker on the outside of lips and lighter inside.

Ah, such lovely picks! I don’t own any of these, but you’ve definitely tempted me! Especially with the NARS and Burberry 🙂 MAC Rebel is one of my all-time favourite Fall shades! xo

I really want to try the Buxom Runaway. Maybe I’ll swatch it later in the week when I go shopping. Anyway, to answer your question my favorite fall lipsticks are Bobbi Brown’s Clove and Raisin Lipsticks. Also, Revlon Toast of New York.

My favourites ( the ones I have ) : Chanel Culte, Chanel Destinée, Burberry Military Red, M.A.C Plum Bright, M.A.C Rebel, Estee Lauder Rebel Raspberry, Nars Fire Down Below, Nars satin lip pencil in Golshan, Palais Royal, Majella, UD F-Bomb and 69, Bare Minerals Moxie in Live it Up, Armani 400.

Wishlist 🙂 : Armani Ecstasy 400, 401, 402 ( I truly hate the red packaging but the lipsticks look gorgeous ! ), M.A.C Indulge : the 5 lipsticks, Dior 999 and that’s it I think !

Yes, thanks! This is my fave season for lipstick. Which reminds me, has there been a release date for Burberry’s fall/winter collection? I am dying for oxblood lipstick.

MAC – Media
Maybelline – Red Garnet
Revlon – Crush (just bitten kissable balm stain)
Maybelline – Choco Cream (For the days when I want something dark on my eyes, and nude on my lips)
And I think “Rapture” from Urban Decay would also be perfect for fall, but I don’t have it. buhuu

My fall favourites would probably be Guerlain’s Habit Rouge, Clarins Red Wine (I don’t have it yet; I’m waiting to buy it in their next promotion) and Mac New York Apple and Capricious. I’ve also got Red Dwarf (Daphne Guinness, I think?) that I plan to trot out when the weather cools.

While plums & other vampy shades are great for Fall, I think nudes deserve a mention, as well. With the resurgence of the Smokey Eye, the deeper shades may be a bit much. I personally don’t have a favorite amongst either, but then I have far too many lip products to choose from, LOL. I do wear both equally, as well; it’s primarily based on what eye makeup I go with.

I have several faves, but I don’t know how many are still available (i.e., MAC Archetype, gorgeous color, crappy formula though, LOL). I was going through my lippies, and 3 top picks are: Rimmel #14, NYX Honey, and my absolute favorite is one from The Body Shop, #10 (I believe-there’s no shade name).

The Body Shop #10 looks very, very similar to OCC Sebastian. I totally forgot about this one until now, LOL. It’s also the “lost” beauty product I “found” much later that I referenced in your question a few weeks back… I just stuck it in my box of “nudes”, as I haven’t been wearing lipstick at all these past few months (it’s been way too hot!).

I think MAC’s Rocker lipstick will be a highlight of my fall, it’s super flattering (even all my family members love it) definitely an HG shade for me!

I LOVE Venom. I am constantly surprised at how wearable it is – even at the office.

I think I’m going to have to pick up Endless Drama – that looks like my kind of red!

I generally wear nude lipsticks in the fall like YSL rouge volupte #2, mac creme cup, tom ford vanilla suede. They seem to work better with my complexion than berries and plums. I do have one lipstick I wear in the fall that is a berry-red color: Mac new york apple.

I’ve been waiting all summer to pull my beloved MAC Strong Woman, Prince Noir and Runaway Red out again. This year, they’re going to be joined by Subverted, which is amazingly dramatic, and By Design (my sleeper hit nude from Indulge).

Can you tell I love MAC lipsticks?? 😀
