5 Soft Plums for Spring

One of my favorite color to wear for spring is a softer version of plum, so I thought I would share some of my favorite more muted plum lipsticks today.

  1. Guerlain Garance — a very warm plum with a soft sheen
  2. MAC Marque — a gold-shimmered plum
  3. Estee Lauder Irresistible — a neutral-warm medium plum
  4. Tom Ford Indian Rose — a neutral pinky-plum
  5. Bite Beauty Rosewood — a lightly warm-toned plum

Really pretty picks! Marque is gorgeous, the shimmer really adds something without being too garish. I’ve wanted to try Garance for a while now, but they never seem to have it at any Guerlain counters I visit (maybe it’s not available in the UK or something?).

Yay! This post is for me! I have been into plum and neutrals a lot! I really like Chanel’s Scenario which is deeper but still pretty plum.. have been eyeing Intense nude from Estee Lauder as well looks plum on me! 🙂

It’s fair to say I have something of a plum lipsticks addiction… Guerlain Garance was my wedding day lip color so it’s nice to see it on Temptalia’s list!

EL’s Irresistible seems a good contender to try out their Pure Color Envy line (…must…resist…and use the plum lipsticks I already own some more…)

Hi Denniel,

I include my favorites, regardless of price point – I just didn’t have a drugstore favorite for this one 🙂

Indian Rose is beautiful and going on my wish list! I agree I love Garrance and I so happy I chose it! It is very flattering and feels so nice on my lips!

I haven’t really thought of soft plums for spring, but these are gorgeous. I’ll have to rummage through my stash for similar shades.

I think it must be that I find traditional springy pastels hard to wear, so I end up looking for alternative variations!

These are gorgeous colours, I really like the Estee Lauder Colour Envy line. I have been looking into Marsala lipsticks and their shade of Emotional (which you reviewed) was stunning. Unfortunately so was the price ($50). But the texture was glorious.

This post is just rubbing salt in my wounds because MAC aren’t selling Marque in the UK any longer and I can’t find a way to get it from the US. 🙁

Hurrah for Garance and Indian Rose! They’re all quite lovely picks! 🙂 But if I had to go with a MAC, it would be plumful. 🙂 I can go with lip balm as well.. 🙂
