24 x Anastasia Eyeshadow Quad Ideas

Anastasia Eyeshadows ($12.00 for 0.05 oz. each or 4 for $32.00) are available individually, which makes them a great line to consider if you’re looking to build your own palette–whether that’s a quad or something much larger. They have a slew of colors and finishes, and for the most part, they have some quality shades (I have found some of the more matte/satin pops of color can be weaker, definitely need primer!). I really hope that the brand will add more shades to the permanent range this year, though.
Here are 24 quad ideas for your viewing pleasure — I really appreciate your feedback about these quad idea posts, so I’d love to hear if any of these caught your eye! 🙂 (I also did a post like this a couple of years ago for Anastasia here.)

Ooh, I like In Dreams, Color on the Fringe, and Mermaid’s Myth. LOL! They all have that pink or purple color paired with a blueish tone.
I love this series of yours!
Did Peacock get discontinued or renamed? I can’t find it on Sephora or the ABH website
It looks like it got discontinued – I will rework those or remove them.
I wish Sephora carried more of the ABH colours. Sephora’s the only source for me, being in Canada, and my preference has always been to shop in-store. Moss is a gorgeous shade (same with Victorian) but neither is carried in store and Moss not even online.
I love these posts and i love the creative quad names too!
This is great. I love it! You already work so hard and then to put this together on top of that! Thanks, Christine.
Such lovely colors! I prefer to buy their single shadows rather than a palette.
Thank you!! I want to buy some singles but in the website is very difficult to see the shades. Thanks Christine?
In Dreams and Casual Wear are my favorites here!
I love this series that you’re doing. So many new and different ideas for me 🙂
You curate so well! As usual and expected. Just love this feature. Please don’t let some corporate entity steal you away. Def doing the cooler ABH eighter I planned out….yeah, they’re here…before they make major changes. Wish they added more of the palette shades as singles. I’d love a few from Subculture, but was frightened off, plus that falls into my anti-drama no buy. Idk why this made me think of the coming royal nuptials, maybe some of the quad names. Does anyone know who is doing Meghan’s m/u? Bet it’s a Brit, like Lisa, unless she has a steady artist already. Princess Di would be so proud of her boys. And Meghan will be gorgeous. Great luck to. both of them. (Who cares about the dress? We want m/u details!)
Love this idea and the combos you came up with! I would also love to see this for Colourpop singles!
Even though we know I’m normally no fan of blue eyeshadow, I am DIGGING Smouldering Eyes! Plus, having a few other quad ideas looking really delightful too, like; Violet’s Last Stand, Color On The Fringe, Mean & Green, and Isle Of The Sun.
I love all the combos and names you come up with! These quads are gorgeous; I especially love the Royally Tied and Lap of Luxury quads. Thank you for all your hard work Christine!
I am thoroughly enjoying this series, very inspiring. These posts must take so much work, too, so thank you – it shows a passion and creativity!
I’m glad to have a really big collection now, but if it wasn’t the case I’d be in trouble ^^
I really love your idea of quad posts. It gives ideas for future looks or gifts and it sums up quite well what a brand has to offer.
I’d love to see more of your palette ideas in the future 🙂
Amazing work as always, these combinaitions plus the names are awesome. Could you please do something similar with Mac singles ?
I’m loving this series and loving the smaller groupings – much easier for most of us to get our heads around – and also the fact that some of the shades are repeated in 2 or 3 different groupings. Thank you so much for this, Christine.
Love this post!! Autumn’s Here, Sunset on Fire, Autumn Emerges, and Sooth Me are my favorites. I really appreciate these suggestions!! Thank you again for all that you do!
Thanks again! This is wonderful.
Thanks so much for the amazing ideas! You’re so inspiring.
Wow Christine, I LOVE this series! Do one similar for MAC as well! =)
I’m bookmarking this page ahead of the next ABH eyeshadow singles sale. These combos are so beautiful and very inspiring. Thank you for all hat you do! -PS, I’m especially loving the Soothe Me quad idea, this has a fantastic summery vibe without the usual reds and oranges we’ve been seeing a lot of lately. 🙂
Tip to anyone looking to buy these, if you wait for black friday they do half off single eyeshadows, at least they have the past two years, and tons of other good deals too! I always take advantage of that sale and grab so much stuff!
I love these quad ideas Christine! I personally think Autumn Harvest is beautiful, warmer toned, but more inspired than a lot of what is out there. I also love Whispers of Smoke (reminds me of the Pat McGrath Platinum Blonde), Elegance Remembered and Violets Last Stand. ?
I’m bookmarking this so I can come back to it to purchase some more shades. It also gave me ideas for me to rearrange some of the ABH shadows I already have which is nice. ? Looking forward to more posts like this one in the blog in the future.
I absolutely love this idea! It makes me want to go buy more which I don’t need!
You come up with the prettiest color combinations.
I join the chorus of appreciation for this series! Inspiring — gives me all kinds of news ideas. Thank you
Ha! I was hoping I’d be able to make one of the quads from shades I have, but no joy. They all have at least one color I don’t own (and I have 23 abh singles!). I think we must have slightly different tastes. 😉
OMG…. Love love love the names
? god bless you honey for doing this for us
honestly with how many people seem to pan tempera on the MR and soft glam palette, i don’t know why they haven’t released that as a single.
Palettes with 4 or 5 colors are my favorite. The suggestions above are incredible. I wrote several of them down so I can build a few of these for my collection. So easy to travel with too. Thanks for doing this Christine, you’re the best.
I don’t have any Anastasia products right now, but this post inspired me to copy/paste some photos into a (never to be published-I don’t plagiarize) Word document, play around with them, and come up with a few new quads of my own. (I don’t have any fancy names for my quads-sorry!) I favor really bold and bright and/or dark colors, so a lot of my combos are high-contrast (bolds with 1 neutral, neutrals with 1 bold, warm tones with 1 cool tone, cool tones with 1 warm tone).
Sangria/Sunset/Morocco/Denim Smokey
Iridescent Purple/Emerald/Custom/Dragonfly
Beauty Mark/China Rose/Violet/Rosette
Wine/Midnight/Star Cobalt/Love Letter
Cognac/Blazing/Deep Plum/Henna
Macaroon/Aubergine/Not Today/Pink Champagne
Pose/Penny/Mermaid/Amber
Surface of the Sun/Opaline/Prussian Blue/Electro
If anyone can think of names for any of these quads, let me know!
Sorry if my first parenthetical seems awkward! I’m an English major and get paranoid about plagiarism probably more than the average person, in addition to the average paranoia of misunderstandings that crops up in online conversations. Also, one of the worst crimes in US history has its roots in plagiarism-if any of you are trivia buffs and want to know more about that, don’t be afraid to ask me!
I like reading the names you come up with as much as the color combos!! So fun and inspiring
