theBalm Cabana Boy Blush

Kick Off Your Summer with a Cabana Boy of Your Own

theBalm Cabana Boy Blush ($21.00 for 0.3 oz.) is one whopper of a blush! It’s a muted raspberry pink with a subtle golden sheen that looks more luminous than shimmery. It’s plenty pigmented, but it can be sheered out for a subtler cheek, too (thankfully!)–definitely recommend using a light hand with this shade. The texture is soft, smooth, and silky. It applies beautifully and without a fuss.

It’s housed in a cardboard compact with vintage imagery. theBalm also gives you plenty o’ product–a veritable blush brick at 0.3 oz.–and you won’t have to shell out $40 to take advantage of the value, either. It’s reasonably priced as a high-end brand at $21 a pop.

WOW! love this shade as I don’t have anything like it! the packaging is cute as well.

  2. I dont usually want things immediately after seeing them on here, and always have to check it out first .. but this color is right up my alley I definitely think I need it .. I like the goldem sheen it gives perfect for summer and the pink is good for all year round.

  3. I have had that blush for a long time, and I love it !! It can be too harsh on me If I apply to much because I am paper white though, Still love it though!!

  4. Beautiful! I’ve wanted this blush shade for a long time. How will I resist with these awesome pictures?

  5. Vanessa

Wow what a great value! I’ll have to look more into these blushes!

  10. Charlotte

Ooh! I wondered what was on your cheeks in the Dazzle l/s swatch.

It looks similar to Benefit (cutesy cardboard packaging) I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Balm in the UK though =(

  11. Kellie

This is beautiful. I have Hot Mama! and this seems not too be as shimmery… I want this :)

  12. Natasha

    I love the balm!
And this is a beautiful colour!
    :)

  13. Bernice

Love the blush and the lip colour!

  14. K7P*

I love theblam products. They’re all so well pigmented. This blush is by far one of my favs!

  15. love it. want it. can we get in the UK? :) <3xxx

  16. Dini

Love it. Especially with that lip color. Very fresh!

  17. Ashley

I love this kind of packaging.

  18. Riley

I have this and the swatch is accuate color-wise. Maybe they have changed the formula because mine is not shimmery (which I prefer btw). I love it! I don’t reach for it everyday. It’s great when you want to do a pink cheeks/lips combo (with minimal eye look).

  19. Dreamerchan

I love this blush, but it is such a fragile blush. I dropped it out of my hand and it hit my desk, half of the blush shattered.

  20. Ann

Is there any MAC or NARS dupes for this one?

  21. Michou

Ohhh, it’s a very sexy shade! Wish my local Sephora carried this brand OR tarte, but they never have it!

  22. Cute! I love how these can be used as both a blush or eyeshadow!

  23. Ally_D

For those of us in the UK, theBalm products can be bought from cultbeauty.co.uk

Am considering placing an order myself for this and the Time Balm under eye concealer that got so many votes on the post earlier this week. Need to find some reviews of the company first though because I’ve never heard of them…

    • Ally_D

Sorry, I didn’t read closely enough – they stock some theBalm products but not Cabana Boy. The only other place I’ve seen it so far is at Debenhams online but it’s part of a set

  24. Carrie

    Cute packaging! Pretty color!!

  25. CeeBee

Ah, I already have Hot Mama and Down Boy and so far I have managed to resist this… but not for too much longer I don’t think!

  26. Ms. Jimmi

oooh! I want! I showed it to my friend Liz and we want to rush to Sephora! The blush and lipcolor looks fabulous on you!!

  27. amy

I love how The Balm’s blushes feel on my skin because they feel very silky and their pigmentation is great too.

  28. Maya

    Love it! Love TheBalm products:-)
I Have “Down Boy”, another beatiful blush.

  29. ria

OMG! I have this blush and it’s definitely a MUST have blush. It’s highly pigmented.

  30. Kristy

    That looks so pretty! :)
According to sephora their “down boy” blush has 0.75 oz of product… what?!

  31. Cindy

The Balm is also available in Rexall Drug Stores if you’re in Canada!!

  32. Isabella Rabello

    The package is so cute…

  33. Ann

Just arrived today and I luv it! I am a brown/tan girl and the pigmentation is great. It is versatile and you can build up the intensity if needed. I tried it with a smokey eye and I like that it gave a hint of color but didn’t compete with the dramatic color on my eyes. I would say this is a MUST have . . . kudos to theBalm for achieving quality and versatility with this blush and that will work with most skin tones, which is rare and hard to do.

  34. anonymous

this is such a pretty shade– if I ever thought I could finish the blushes I already own I’d definitely get this. have hot mama & down boy but this would probably have been better on my skintone. maybe they’ll include it in a palette so I can justify it based on the other items :-)

  35. Queentut

I purchased this blush about a month ago and I’m addicted! I use it as both a blush and an eyeshadow…color is perfect “smokey rose”. It is highly pigmented in my opinion so a light hand is necessary. It should last a long, long time :)

  36. Queentut

I bought this about a month ago..love it. I use as an eyeshadow as well. Perfect with cool and warm skintone and eyeshadow palettes. It is a gorgeous smoky rosy blush with a LOT of color payoff. Use a light hand and blend. You will love it!

  37. inj

huh….this looks purplish sparkly pink on me…I don’t see any real red/rose in it. Sadly nothing like your swatch!!
