The Spring Season: MAC Touch Lipstick
MAC Touch Lipstick ($14.00) is an creamy, full color coverage browned nude with a glossy sheen. This is one of my favorite browns to wear, because on me, it’s just right–I find that darker browns can look odd on me–it has just enough warmth and lightness to make it work as a darkened nude. Touch has a lustre finish, but it’s the best kind of lustre–all of that beautiful shine with creamy color. Like other MAC lipsticks, it is vanilla-scented and wears for about four hours before fading.
Is this the right brown lipstick for you? Would you wear it?

I lovvveeee Touch! I wear that with Wildly Lush Plushglass on top and that becomes my fav nude lip. Im a NC50 and it looks amazing. The color even looks great on your skin complexion as well. Definitely a must have brown shade in my opinion.
Nooo! I owned that lipstick for a long time. I bought it thinking it would be good for a nude lip on a NW45 lady, such as myself. NOPE! It was terrible, make me look washed out. I ended up using it for B2M.
Oh no, sorry it didnt work for you! At first I felt the same about it until I tried a few lipglosses on top and it changed everything. I usally go with a lighter shade gloss such as Macs 2N, Chai, or my fav Wildly Lush plushglass. I definitely suggest giving it a try with the gloss, you may just like it.
I love this color I will have to check it out next time I'm at MAC. I find that the right brown hues for me are "Fresh Brew" and "Hug Me" from MAC..they are beautiful colors. Especially "Hug Me" with "Boy Bait" Creamsheen Glass on top! Thanks for the new brown shade suggestion. I'm eager to go and try it out! xo Kaylena

This was the first MAC l/s I bought. And it's by far my favorite. I have several l/s but I always come back to this one.
Hi Christine, if I might say, Touch bears uncanny resemblance to Lancome's Bronze Show, from their Mix & Matte collection.
Gorgeous color. I've been wanting that one for a while now. I tend to look better in warmer tones, and it looks so creamy.
I actually use this shade when I'm going for a nude lip, but I was wondering of that new lip pencil that just came out would look good with this

Hi, Christine. Would it be possible for you to post a full-on lip swatch of Brave New Bronze? I know it was LE but I would really love to see a lip swatch of it on you. I bought Touch a couple of months ago and I love it. It's no fuss and it doesn't compete with the eyes.

I am about C4 and this lipstick is the perfect nude lip for me. It's not erased nude, but more like my lips but better.

Did you use a lip pencil? You apply your lipstick so perfectly! lol. I like this lipstick as a suggestion for spring. I love my nudes and am looking for a new lipstick so I might check this one out and see how it looks on me. As always, great post, Chrstine!
Nope, no lip pencil! I am far too lazy to that (I will admit it!), even on a day-to-day basis, but more so just for swatches!
I have gone through many tubes of this sucka. It looks so different on my skin tone (NC45). It is a gentler nude on me, all darker skin ladies need to pick this one up.
touch looks gorgeous on you! unfortunately it was too orange on me...but then I found 4N which is juuust nice :)

Very nice colour. I really like it. As a rule I'm not fond of a brownish colour, but this one is really nice.
I have Touch, I'm a C7, NC45/NC50, caramel skin. I find that the color doesn't do much for me :(
I'm so glad you featured this color!! Touch is my all time fav l/s by MAC. It truly doesn't get enough love! My lips are super pigmented and this was the first l/s that I tried that I felt I had found my "HG" color! Love it!:)
Ohhh, so pretty! I may have to check it out - but only when I finish up at least two lipsticks. I have to start putting down some rules for myself, ,lol.
