Guerlain Garance (06) Rouge G Lipstick ($45.00 for 0.12 oz.) is this mix of coral and pink with a hint of beige/nude. It’s not quite a coral, but it’s not a true pink… and it’s muted by an almost pinky-nude shade. I wasn’t even sure if this was better classified as a spring season shade or perhaps more suitable for summer, because it seems too summery for spring yet not quite summery enough for summer! Maybe it’s best to call this a nice transitional shade that can be worn easily in the spring or summer. It has a glossy sheen, creamy but lightweight texture, and very subtle sparkle. It also gave my lips nearly opaque coverage, but the application itself was incredibly even and smooth.

This is the most beautiful lipstick I have ever owned...sleek and a great density. "Garance" - 06 - I seem to shop fanatically for lipsticks, and I am not a bargain shopper for lipsticks. I fell the more pricey ones, from my experience, are better for me.Garance is subtle yet dramatic; natural with a moisturiing sheen that makes your lips look soft. I love the name "Garance." I wonder how many of you are are familiar with this female romance character in a classic French film.
i guess it's not limited edition then. lol, and to add i seem to love shopping for pricier 1s too seeing as i have super sensitive skin and those just work well on me as compared to others. So what colour is it on you? i need as many reviews as i can get before i purchase them 'coz i get them shipped.

Hey Christine ! I asked my friend to get this and Galante based on your review . I initially thought it would wash me out since am NC40 but surprise surprise , it looks amazing and so does Galante ! Am in love and am very sad that Guerlain isn't available in India !

I had thought so, too - but I bought it anyway, because the color is so entrancing. Very unusually versatile - deceptive. And I am picky about lipstick colors on myself.
I will be purchasing this color. I can't wait to feel the heft of the case. I'm sure it has a satisfying "click" when closed as well. I have very specific things about makeup items that will put in me in the "zone" so to speak (other makeup addicts that have similar issues will understand). High end makeup must have: quality product, quality packaging to include fragrance. If the item is lacking in one or more of the above and I'm not sold--I'll walk away. This is well worth the money for the "buzz" it will give me to own it and touch it and use it. Sounds nuts but I am a self professed makeup addict. :-D

Christine would you say Benefit La La Land is pretty close? I have both Garance and La La Land and they seem pretty close on my pigmented lips. La La Land is a tad darker, less sheen more matte, but in the same family I would say.

This is one coral that I could definitely pull off. Very nice.
Very Pretty Christine.. I love Rouge G"s but the cost is crazy,they really should have made refills for these.I like these better than the Kiss Kiss plus the fragrance is not strong.

I think it's my 1st love-at-1st-sight Guerlain lipstick. Many are beautiful and stand out more, but they are not so 'me' like this one :D
DITTO! If there is something called "perfection", this color is it....Every time I try to get a matching color, the people in the stores can't seem to get the right one, and they have to admit there's no other color quite like it. : }
